Fellow ARMY correct me if IM wrong, but it all started with Tae sharing some of Umi music in one of his lives. Than she reached out to him. In the dms she thanked him for sharing her music. And now they've written a song together. Im sure im missing a lot of details, but in general that how it started. The song matches Tae's style perfectly and apparantelly her style and love for music is very similar to Tae's. Loved your reaction, and yes we are still here and not going anywhere! Happy New Year!

Yes tae shared her song in his ig story also on his weverse live she dm him and thanked him at that time tae released his album then she covered his song then he thanked her and shared her cover in his ig ,today in her live she shared she asked him without any expectations can we do a song together then just like that with in sec tae said yes also she said no labels/companies/managers no one is involved in this like no official contacts happened just they both talked with each other in ig and created the song cuz he wanted to do so many contents before leaving for military,so it's just artists who appreciate each other,many antis and even army's making fun of tae doing his first Collab with a unknown artist who didn't even have 1M followers on her ig but these people forgot that talent doesn't depends on number of ig followers ❤

Taehyung just shared umi song she was shocked she loves bts way before she dm him he replied they instantly shared lyrics together make a song, umi wrote some lyrics for her grandma and Tae write for his Fans that he will be always there for his fans even when he is millitary. Umi is Indie Artist has no Record label backup, she said tae and her have no Label Involvement. they Compose and wrote song with their team. its was all organic. 💜

Totally agree. V has been consistently putting priority on showing his good music rather than commercial results and we should applaud him for endorsing and supporting highly talented but underrated musicians like Umi. Congrats to both for this magical and organic collab!

V has got such impeccable choice for music..it doesn't matter who the artist is and for him to collab with someone who is still working her way to music industry is such humble way of sharing his platform without even putting himself on the frontline but gave her the opportunity to shine instead..He is V! but made himself a featured artist instead of the main. it's unfortunate to know that yesterday there were few solo stans campaigning others not to stream the song coz the artist V is collaborating is an "indie artist" kinda like a nobody..and they said that it's never gonna top the chart,,,haahahahah,,,and it's number in 1 in itune right now...these are solo stans who experience anxiety even when V sneeze..now they know it top the charts..i bet they are now in emergency room hyperventilating...suuuuuuck it!🤣🤣🤣 congratulations UMI and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAETAE..BORAHAE💜💜💜

And that is the power of BTS, shining a light on artists some of us have never heard of, I'm certainly going to check out some *UMI* music now. Just wish there was some *TAE* stills in the clip or they could have taken the footage from the TikToks and shorts where he promoted the song and made an actual video. Overall ... a great song

I've been listening to it all day, it's a beautiful song and even more meaningful because of how far away Tae seems from us at the moment. He is my bias and I am missing him so much and this song makes me feel like I've been wrapped in a big hug from him. His voice fits so well with Umi's. The two of them fit together perfectly. totally agree this was a collab made in heaven. UMI sounds amazing and V´s voice is such a compliment to the song. this song would only be halv as good if if was UMI singing alone. and the lyrics fits perfect for them. it´s like no matter where you are you will be in my heart so it can fit both army´s, BTS or his girlfriend if he have one. because now he is away from everyone he loves
