Eric Carmen wrote and performed "All By Myself", which became a big hit for him in many countries around the world in 1975. The original is certainly worth a listen (but, really, it's hard to top Céline Dion on the vocals).

Lara Fabian and Celine Dion are two of the best female singers of my generation and I share their music often with my kids whether they want me to or not. If they're riding with me, it's my car so I get to blast whatever I want on the stereo, lol.

David Foster surprised Celine with a key change from A major to Db major, with that high note F5 on THAT "Anymore" towards end of song, I believe. He did it to push her to her limits and beyond. That key change was SO mind blowing, it still blows me away. At the time, NOBODY could've hit that note. Maybe now with Dimash, Morrisette,etc. I wouldn't mind hearing that. It's so hard to get your voice to change from a lower note to higher or reverse. Most use a step method, going up or down. David Foster was like, naw, we gonna skip the steps and jump right in.

These days anyone can just hit that high note. But Celine delivered with grit, passion, and angst that comes from the gut. That's what made Celine's vocal so special.

I remember watching a Divas performance here a while back on RU-vid it was maybe in the early 2000s Whitney Houston Mariah Carey and some more Divas was there singing but Aretha Franklin and Celine Dion blow them out of the park they put the other women to shame now the other women did sing good but they just could not keep up with Aretha and Celine a good song by Celine to react to is Because You Loved Me it was one of her earlier songs they also used it in a movie with Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro called up close and personal it was a really good movie much love 2 you and the keep climbing family God is love amen amen❤❤❤❤

Hi Rick Celine is in the vocal Quartet(Whitney-Mariah-Celine-Aretha) These four ruled the 90´s. David Foster who produced I Will Always Love you produced this song and challenge Celine to reach the #F5 multiple times as you can hear...Its Insane for over 5 minute song. I agree with you, u dont sing on top of a Celine Dion vocals especially while reacting, but you can ask politely too, the guy is doing our Celine justice and is wearing headphones. I'm sure he'll do a better job next.
