Strongly recommend End of a Life. Very different from her earlier stuff, but has a much more personal touch to it since it references some of her struggles during 2020 in Japan.

Calli is the rapper of the company. She basically put Hololive on the map in the west due to her talent. But that doesn't mean that she is the only one who can make good music. Irys(EN branch), Suisei (JP branch) , Towa (JP branch), Moona (ID branch) and many others from Hololive have some banger songs.

For a basic explanation, Hololive Production is basically a vtuber talent agency, part of a larger tech and entertainment company called Cover Corporation. Hololive Production currently employs 80 vtubers, 21 males who are under the HoloStars brand and 59 female talents who are what most think of when you say just Hololive. Hololive is further divided into three regional branches. There’s the main Japanese branch, consisting of 35 talents, Hololive Indonesia, which consists of nine members, and Hololive English, which is 15 members. This third branch is what Calli is specifically a part of. Hololive Vtubers are first and foremost normal streaming vtubers who play games and do everything you’d expect, but the group also doubles as a music idol group. Multiple concerts are put on each year where the talents perform for a live audience using augmented reality tech. Because of this, all the active talents dabble in music at least to some extent. For some, this means just releasing a song cover every so often. Others, like Calli, who since joining Hololive has gone on to sign with a major record label, make music a big part of their overall content. Calli is herself a deep rabbit hole, having released a lot of music in just three years (two full length albums, multiple standalone singles and covers and four EPs, the fourth of which releases in a couple days). I encourage you to continue exploring her music as a lot of it is very worthwhile. Hololive is a VTuber agency based in Japan. They have an English branch, which Calli is a part of. Basically their normal activities are just being streamers, but one of the focuses of Hololive as an agency is producing music, and also holding big live 3D concerts and events. Holofest, their biggest annual event, is basically a multi day convention/concert and has been known to sell out even big stadiums in Japan. Calliope is especially musically focused amongst hololive talents and has produced a number of EPs and Albums, and has even signed with UMJ as of a year or so ago. She has a lot of songs and a lot of bangers you could react to, but I would suggest the 3 newest songs she dropped off her coming EP while they're fresh: 1. Six Feet Under - a collaboration with TK who you might know as the guy who made the song Unravel from Tokyo Ghoul 2. Carrousel - A collaboration with Reol, who is another popular JP singer 3. Fute Island - A collaboration with One Piece, it's the themsong for the most recent manga arc IIRC. She has definitely grown a lot musically over her time in Hololive, and while some of her early stuff after she joined UMJ can be hit or miss, every project she has released never fails to have some fire tracks tracks in it. The three tracks mentioned from her newest project I think are incredible and if the rest of the EP matches the quality of what has been shown thus far, it will easily be the best overall project she has released.

As if the stars aligned, Hololive has amassed an astounding team of talents and it is still growing, and being one of the brightest stars, Calli is arguably the hardest-working, on the same level as Suisei perhaps. Under her birth name she is working on her career as a voice actor, under her rapper name she is maintaining her inspiring career in the underground rap scene and developing it further. And as the first disciple of the grim reaper at Hololive, she ceaselessly brings out both original and cover songs, while recording for Universal Music.

Oh man, you have so much to listen to. The amount of stuff these girls released... You'll be here for a while. And then there are others beside Hololive. I'd say that you've hit a bottomless well of entertainment.

As a Hololive vtuber, Calli is probably THE most open about her irl self and past before joining Hololive. This piece is, generally, about her aspirations and what she learned in her first year, especially from her gen mates (Gura, Kiara, Ame, and Ina, each previously successful streamers in their own right). Many of her earlier preconceptions about idoldom were shattered, but she maintains her stubborness to set her own course. Gotta love east Texas girls! I would suggest reacting to Demondice Karen (DDK). Especially "Sedai No Scream". That piece gives particular insights into the brain behind the vtuber, as well as highlightening how much her lyrical skills have grown over the past 2 years.

Love the reactions.. a little sad you didn't get to react to her FIRST song as the first one of hers you heard. I feel it's a bit of a right of passage for Calli fans. “Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP?” in case you want to check it out at some point. It's meant to be an intro to her and obviously isn't as polished in some ways as her later stuff, but it's still a fan favorite.
