Welcome to the family. I heard an interview with him a few years back and he was saying that the inspiration for this song came when he and his son who was really little at the time we’re in the car driving to go play with some tractors and they got caught in a crazy downpour. His little boy started chanting “loud and heavy” from the backseat, and the song was born. Fun fact: he gave his son songwriting credits. For your next go around, I highly suggest Must Be the Whiskey.

Sounds like my experience. First time I saw Cody Jinks was in a crap hole bar, Cody was touring out of the van still. 5 bucks to get in the bar. Cody and Josh were sitting at the bar. Now here we are…it’s been a wild ride to watch.

A close friend of mine committed suicide last month. We used to share music and I was never a big fan of country outside of a few songs. This was the last song he showed me. I loved it when he showed me, but now it's always going to have a deeper meaning to me.

He’s already done it, but more of us are slowly getting him into the harder stuff! Recently reacted to Tool now we just need more! AB for real, you need Pantera “Cemetary Gates” and Dio “Holy Diver” On another note, there’s a lot of great genuine back to roots country coming out of our southern states, getting away from the pop country which has its own appeal. But those of us raised on country legends sure are glad to have it coming back. 😊

Because if that was the first song of his I heard I would hate him/ 1982, I Told You So, On the Other Hand, Forever Amen, He walked on Water... those songs exist. 3 Wooden crosses should not exist. Just a garbage gimmick poorly written trash song but that seems to be the trend that people recommend to these reactors. I’ve been trying to get reaction channels hip to him and whiskey Meyer but not about to pay for it. I listen to most genres. In my opinion this isn’t my favorite there is better story telling from him and many others. Open ur mind if u like music and hear lyrics it’s easy nowadays
