My daughter is 33 yrs old and swears she played the guitar on the original song 😂. This is her favorite Con Funk Shun song. My kids love 70-90's songs just like me.

So glad someone reacted to this song. 1979, thirteen years old in my room with headphones on. LOL. This group has so many number one hits and this song wasn't even a single but a fan favorite. The whole " Candy" album was fire but check out " Ffun" " Shake and dance", "Got to be enough" and so many more. People are just discovering " Love's train" because of Bruno Mars.

Yesssss! A Con Funk Shun #CLASSIC. 1979 and i'm 21yrs old. Two years on active duty in the Army of my first Ten. I was stationed in Aschaffenburg, Germany 1977-80 when i bought the album. Blasting this song on my sound system in the barracks. Con Funk Shun is my No.1 Funk Soul Group to this day in 2024💯💯✔✔🎶🎵🎼

Ashley im soooo glad that you appreciate or music from the 70s-80s funk R&B era. I play bass and guitar in my uncles band back in Philly called 14 Karat and we played and sang all them songs as well as Cameo Earth Wind & Fire Ohio Players Barkays just to name a few.. ( its nothing in the world like live music an musicians and vocalist ) thats how we did it,, Our music is missing that today.. thank you for acknowledging the funk. and you also have a beautiful smile. kudos to you Sista,, keep it going pass it on

Good morning Beautiful Little Lady 🙏🏽🌹I came across your channel just last night and loved your reactions! I’m a sixty year old Mexican from San Diego and grew up to all the music you’re discovering and the truth is that. As my Beloved Sister Sandra/“Lady-Q”(Lady Queen 👸🏻 RIP 🙏🏽🌹) always said in my teenage years that the “ 80’s for Ladies!” That’s how we got down! We always bumped to the jams and cruised and grooved to Oldies from the 70’s, 60’s and even 50’s and all the music was about love for men and women and we cruised in our Lowrider’s and partied hearty and a whole lot of baby making going on! Even the Funk music was about love. Since I came across this Con funk shun jam, I know you would love “Straight from the Heart “ by them as well and I would love to see your reaction to that. Know that you have a True OG subscriber now and as time permits I will contribute when I’m able. I spent the majority of my adult life in prison and Saturday nights in the “Hole “ was music night by us Mexican’s, so being we didn’t have appliances, we’d sing. And I was always the requested one to sing and the “Brutha’s” would put their requests in as well. Thank you for your content! The bass sound towards the end! And the guitar solo! They have a lot of great hits. At the time I and many with me sometimes thought a song was by Earth, Wind & Fire when it was actually ConFunkShun, for example Miss Got the body and Too tight which are two of my favorites.

Hi Ashley love your reaction video was wonderful to see younger generation appreciated the artists back in day and get the credit that they deserve for the real talent you had to have back then. Check out funk group Slave Slide and some of there song. The guitar solo on Slide is considered on the greatest solo of all time. But is never mentioned as one of the best guitar solo according the music industry like rolling stone those other magazines. And just some other groups on this caliber you can listen too. Isley Brothers, Earth Wind and Fire, Enchantment, L.T.D., Cameo, Lakeside, Bar-Kays. All these groups i mentioned put out classic slow jams. That were baby making music.
