Trivias about Queen Morissette: At age 11, she was diagnosed with throat nodules and had to be operated on. She was devastated because she was afraid that she would not be able to sing anymore, and becoming the best singer that she could ever be has been her childhood dream. But because of hard work and because of God's grace, she has become the best singer that she is now. To my mind, she is the best female singer of her generation globally, to which many foreign vocal coaches and artists concur. She sings ballads, rock, gospel, R&B, jazz, classical, rap, and opera. She is a lyric soprano with 5 octaves and 4 notes, the widest range for a Filipina singer today. Not only that, for she dances very well also when she sings fast songs. You should see her "Run The Show" video to watch her moves, so delightful. She was singing already at age 3 y/o. During her first competitions, she didn't manage to bag any grand prizes, always near misses. But these did not deter her from improving herself. And now, she is at the top of her game, with many awards already tucked under her belt. This journey of hers, not being put down by her throat tumor, initially not winning the grand prizes on TV talent searches, but continuing on with her pursuit of becoming the best singer that she could be while having FAITH in God above to bless her, has inspired so many others like her (wishing to succeed in their chosen careers in spite of the odds). Also, she plays the guitar and keyboard. She has sang with Jessie J, Michael Bolton, and British 90s boy band A1. She was in talks with Mariah Carey's producer, Rhett Lawrence... She was invited to Tokyo Disney to meet with Alan Menken (Disney musical director) and they sang a part of "A Whole New World" in front of Hollywood actor Will Smith, who was the voice of the genie in Aladdin... So, many possible projects are looming in the horizon for this beautiful, young lady. I really hope that she gets to be the voice of the next Disney princess. Likewise, she is a good actress, that is why whenever she sings, she manages to put her emotions across in her songs. An example of this is a cover of Whitney Houston's "Run To You."
