Dimash is a 29-year-old Kazakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and would be completing a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. He was in Los Angeles, USA, working on his new material that his fans (he affectionately calls us "dears") . He is a kind, polite and compassionate person, proud of his culture and his country. He is known as the "best singer in the world."

This is the kind of videos we like the most: introducing Dimash to someone new He is from Kazakhstan but there was singing in Hunan TV show "I am singer" in China when he was 22 years old.

A little FYI. There are other videos of Diamsh performing this song on this show that have cc for English translations. It's fun to hear what the other contestants say about him. Dimash was 22 years old at that time. He began music school at the age of five along with academic studies. He has three degrees in music and still does vocal training for 3-5 hours every day. It would be great if you watched all of his performances on "Singer 2017" with English translations, and see how he progressed on that show. All the other singers were Professional Chinese singers and were 12-39 years his senior. He was the first foreigner, the youngest and non-professional singer in the show's history. He won the first two rounds and should have won the first four. I guess they didn't want to make the others look too bad. He only spoke Kazakh and Russian, and his first four songs were in French, Russian, English, and Mandarin. His last five songs were even better than the first four.
