When he recorded this he actually did the guitar riff with his voice! He is really good at immitating instruments with his voice. No end to what he can do!! He started music school at age 5 and tge teacher recognised that he had perfect pitch at that young age. Both his parents are singers, his mum is an Opera singer and his dad a more contemporary singer. Dimash grew up around music and most Kazakh families appreciate music with many of them playing the dombra, a Kazakh instrument. Dimash is an accomplished dombra player too, as well as playing several other instruments. 😊🙏💕

Several of his musicians and the male backup singer all grew up in music school together. He has known them since he was five and the male backup singer and he often shared the same dorm room. He trusts them and they trust him. They are like family to him, and are excellent musicians. Oh, Dimash loves Michael Jackson and has even done a tribute to MJ.

Интересная история случилась с Димашем в Америке,когда медсестра побывавшая в доме И Джексона получила в подарок от него портрет. Прошло время,она в возрасте и думала кому подарить портрет хотела достойному музыканту подарить.И вот она случайно отдыхая с подругами в кафе в окно увидела Димаша,ее подруги догнали Димаша,рассказали о сюрпризе и договорились о встрече и эта женщина вручила Димашу портрет М Джексона с его автографом.Но самое интересное то что дата когда был сделан автограф совпадает с днём рождения Димаша. His lastname took me a while to pronounce too. It is pronounced "Koo-die-bare-gyen" with the accent on the last syllable. The back up singer on the left is a friend & married to Dimash's lifelong friend ,who is his music arranger. The other 2 singers are also good friends. The production company is owned by Dimash & his parents.....Dimashali. Parents names are Kanat, & Sveta Aitbayev. Kudaibergen is Dimash's grandparents last name, apparently it's Kazakh tradition.
Qudaibergen (KOO-die-bear-ghen) but just Dimash is fine. He's kind of one of those one-name artists. Michael Jackson was a huge influence and an idol of Dimash's since he was very young. You can see that influence in several of the songs he does.

Even more amazing is that he only learned to dance a few years ago because he felt his Dears wanted to see that. As always, he's humble, self-deprecating even, about his dancing and skill at playing so many instruments. I think he hired one of MJ's choreographers to come train him. There are snippets of Dimash a cappella if you search for them. He will suddenly burst into song at airports or wherever he happens to be.
In an interview, it was said that Dimash composed this song after watching something on MJ. His then back-vocalist Jordan wrote the lyrics. Yes, he has a great team surrounding him! Everything is top notch!

Dimash had just learned the choreography so he was very focused on his dancing so looked a tiny bit distracted while singing the song. But as always did everything perfectly. Dimash's dancing has become better and better over the years since 2017 Bastau concert when he had to learn Michael Jackson dance moves for a Michael Jackson hit songs medley he put together for his first solo concert in Astana Kazakhstan. FYI, everyone was so worried about his weight loss during this extremely taxing year of performances in China where he was and still is very much in demand. You will note he is extremely thin in 2017. I believe he was running on adrenaline alone during 2017 and 2018. Luckily he came through without serious health issues (I hope). FYI, his next solo concert is coming right up on Dec 23rd 2023 in Hong Kong China. He just announced a very special surprise for his Dears.
