Great rock band from the 70's-80's. They had lots of hit songs such as "Sylvia's Mother", "Only Sixteen", "A Little Bit More", "Better Love Next Time", "Sexy Eyes" etc. "The Cover Of Rolling Stone" is such a fun song. They finally did get on the cover of the magazine in 1973 in caricature.

This song was released Oct 1972 and they finally did get their picture on the cover of "The Rolling Stone" Mar 29, 1973. However; instead of an actual photo (like all the other stars) it was a "Caricature Drawing" of them. Ray Sawyer did not wear the eye patch as a gimmick - He lost his eye in an auto accident in 1967. He stated that the "glass eye" was too uncomfortable and preferred the eye-patch instead."

Would love to see you react to Puddles Pity Party, I would recommend starting with either Chandelier or Royals. He is a 7ft tall Clown dressed as Pavarotti, and has a Golden Voice. Please react to Carry Me Carrie. There's a great performance of them performing this song on a houseboat owned by the songwriter Shel Silverstein. It showcases their love of fun, along with "party behavior," but their harmonies are fantastic. My favorite version of the song.
