it's just clickbait, bro. Nobody who was older than 5 in 2004 needs to know this. MTV played it on loop. It's almost like saying you don't know "in the end" by Linkin Park.
@@heisenberg8414 eh I was 9 in 2004 and knew very little about popular music. Plus it's metal. It's still more niche compared to typical pop music. Plenty of people are just now discovering all of the great metal music from the 2000s that they paid little or no attention to when they were a kid. I think I remember hearing Before I Forget in passing though.
The home was a fan of slipknot and the family agreed for them to do the video there, since the family was remodeling the house. I did hear that slipknot had to pay 6 figures out of pocket, cause there was more damage than expected from the shoot.
Its crazy to me that this house was owned by a fan and the whole video cost slipknot 500,000-600,000k because they agreed to pay the owner that wanted to renovate it lol. And all those slipknot fans just showing up at a random house would be alot lol. I'm not so sure if they had neighbors or not but if so that would be an interesting convo im sure
"Get this" from Slipknot would be a dope track to react to since just three reactions are out there. Imo its one of the most aggressive songs they´ve ever made
The owners of the ho.e were going to remodel the ho.e and they allowed the band to use the home as their son is a big fan and in the video. Slipknot paid the family so.e money to go towards the remodel
How could you not have heard Duality back then (2004)? Slipknot were already huge back then and Duality was on almost everywhere. MTV was playing it on loop. ^^ Oh how I miss the late 90s and early 2000s. With bands like Slipknot, Linkin Park, Korn, Papa Roach and co. it was a really great time for music and especially for nu-metal.
The music video isnt the album version, the album version the song is longer, the riff is longer, has more screams and the song ends with Corey screaming "ALL I'VE GOT IS INSANE" with a deep voice Btw, COME BACK WITH SOAD, DO: system of a down MIND live 1997 and live BDO 2002 (These 2 lives)
I love that you guys appreciate how much of an absolute blast that would be lol just destroying a house to good music. I don’t know if it’s true but I heard a fan actually provided that house to film in.
Yeah, a guy broke his leg jumping off the shed (might have been a balcony idr?). A family friend of ours was actually at the filming of the music video
This video is a metaphor for migraines, which Corey was suffering from. The house is his head and the people rushing and crushing it, the pain he experienced. Putting pressure on the eyelids alleviates chronic headaches.
