This song is very metaphorical as Persian songs usually are and maybe also a bit political; Derakht means Tree. But in the song, he explains that by "tree" he metaphorically means himself. Then he continues that he's the "tree" because he's let's the birds rest on its branches (birds are probably metaphorically the people), he is the "green sound" (the sound of hope) that is out of the soil. Then he continues that they are coming with an axe to cut me down and I'm worried about the tried wings of the birds and the travellers who use my shadow. Hey man, this music video is oldddd and the director didn't know what is he doing, however, I think it is impossible for you to experience the beauty of this genre of music without having the lyrics!!!! The music is about the tree, and the whole trak is describing a single tree and its hardship! You can see though the similarity with the singer as he describe the tree and himself. Therefore, I think if you listen to the music and see the subtitle you will be amased by the crafts of the poet, because in my opinion this trck has one of the most beautiful meaning in iranian pop music.

It's Ebi like Emmy (the first letter is pronounced E like Egg). If it was pronounced like the letter "I" we would have spelt it like Ibi. You have to pay attention that when foreigners spell their name with English alphabets, they always choose every letter as it's "officially" supposed to be pronounced. Same with Iran.
