Yeah ELO is one of my all time fav bands, literally every single song they made was epic with many morre than epic stand outs, a song i concider to be so artistic by ELO is called "Dont walk away", a sad but amazing song 👌

You should check out the soundtrack to the movie Xanadu with Olivia Newton-John. ELO wrote and performed 5 great songs on the soundtrack with the title song ‘Xanadu’ having Olivia Newton -John singing lead with ELO as backing. I always enjoy the movie even though it wasn’t successful, but the soundtrack was a worldwide success both critically and commercially. It’s definitely worth listening to.

Absolutely Jeff Lynn ELO unique writing magic. If you get the chance, get ELO live at wembly concert. Has all hits and the sound is superb.

I just have to ask who on these is a boomer who heard these when they were new music vs. millennials ‘discovering’ it? I raised my kids on it and now my granddaughter thinks ELO, Supertramp, Steve Miller, etc are all just brilliant!

I’m a boomer. In high school in 1975 when this song came out We were very fortunate to have all the great bands and music constantly. We didn’t know how good we had it - we just took it for granted at the time. Every time I hear one of these old songs, It takes me back to friends, cruising the car with the 8-track blasting. Oh my 15 year old grandson loves REO. Haha

I think the song playing over in the video is slightly ahead of what Tyler is actually listening. You can tell by the end of the song when he is singing alongside it and he's clearly delayed with the song's vocals

yeah the way i record sound these days it gets delayed, i try and hide it the best i can but it doesnt always go smoothly
