What's great about this channel is not just the Twins' reactions, but I also love that the comments are always full of facts about the song/artist, great song suggestions, and people's stories about their love for the song/artist. Tim and Fred, you've started a great community here of people brought together by their love of music and your reactions to their favorite songs. Thank you!
so true!! I come back over and over watching the reactions when I'm having a bad day. Their infectious joy and enthusiasm makes me smile. It's also started great conversations with other fans of the Twins - made some great 'internet buddies' and boy oh boy have these two gotten themselves a lot of "Honorary Grandmas/Moms" out there who adore them and wish them all the best in the whole world!!
Elton has a countless amount of hits and was the best selling artist of the ‘70s and is one of the best selling artists of all time. He’s an international icon and is regarded as one of the best rock/pop pianists of all time and had a top 40 hit every year for over 30 consecutive years. He is 73 years old and will soon resume his farewell tour next year after COVID is settled down. The movie “Rocketman” is an Oscar and Golden Globe winning film and came out last year and is about Eltons life, I highly recommend it btw. Try reacting to the songs “Tiny Dancer” and “Rocket Man” just for starters. Great reaction video 👍
Didn't care much for the Rocketman movie except for the music. It was a fantasy and I wanted just his story without the fantasy elements. Yeah, yeah. I know he approved it and I saw it but it disappointed me that they buried reality with fantasy. The song they reacted to before was Rocket Man (not Piano Man -- that's Billy Joel). But I give a thumbs up for Tiny Dancer.
I'm still standing, The one, Don't let the sun go down on me, Don't go breaking my heart, Yellow brick road, Sacrifice, Candle in the wind, I guess thats why they call it the blues, Someone saved my life tonight Those are just a few
Yellow Brick Road is a 2 album set. I knew that whole album inside and out...the songs are all so different. "Harmony, Sweet Painted Lady, All the Girls Love Alice" all great songs you would really enjoy
It was Princess Diana’s favorite and Elton John wanted to perform it instead of Candle in the Wind. Others thought since the ladder song was recently out and popular to do it instead. So he changed the lyrics and sang that one. I don’t know if it’s true I just remember reading it somewhere. This is my all time favorite song by him
You've opened a big box here guys! His library is amazing, dive in! He's one of the best singer, song writers of our time! Never mind that he kills the piano.
Sir Elton John is an icon - and when you compared him with Queen, that was quite right. His talents are in that same lofty level. SO many more you could listen to!
I was thinking about that a few days ago; the live performance where Elton comes out to join George! I saw it for the first time when I was 6 years old and I still remember it really, really well!
I heard it just morning and thought, oh man the twins need to react to this "Don't let the sun go down on me" Elton's original is awesome, but the George Michael erosion with Elton joining him OMG, it so good, so POWERFULL !! and beautiful 😍
You guys have listened to “Rocketman” by Elton. “Piano Man” is by Billy Joel who is a great story teller. You should check out Angry Young Man, Scenes From An Italian Restaurant, You May Be Right, and River of Dreams by Billy Joel.
Elton is amazing . He has raised billions for the AIDS foundation and has helped so many . Elton is actually Eminem Sponsor for his recovery from drugs ❤️🙏
And hes the one that helped Robert Downey Jr. when he was at his lowest. His appearance in the "I want love" music video basically resurrected an almost dead career which is awesome.
My first record of Elton’s was “Crocodile Rock”. So good. I’m suggesting: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding* Empty Garden (Tribute to John Lennon shortly after he was killed.) Someone Saved My Live Tonight Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy *requires your seatbelts
I guess that’s why they call it the blues, Tiny Dancer, Daniel, Rocket Man... his music was in my teens and still a joy to listen to as l head for the big 60. Truly an entertainer
He's classically trained. He wrote the music & Bernie Taupin wrote the lyrics. Song came out when I was 13. I'm 60 now. After all the comments I realized Elton John came to my town on a tour in 1973. Goodbye Yellow Brick was my introduction to Elton.
elton john at last. thank you guys. you'll also like "candle in the wind", "tiny dancer", "daniel", and "levon" by him. oh, and "goodbye yellow brick road" and then after elton's version you should check out sara bareilles' cover of it - utterly incredible.
@@wen-nz3sk That was the first time I got to see Elton. The “Face 2 Face” tour. So great! I’d seen Billy Joel a few times before. But to see Elton do “Philadelphia Freedom” in Philadelphia was so cool.
This is the greatest song of all time. It is so honest and sincere. Elton is also my favorite artist of all time too. This made me so So SO happy to see that you reviewed and seemed to genuinely like it. His live versions are even better. Love u two! I look forward to the next review!
Huh...caught it early this time? 😂 oh, Elton...now you gotta also do “Rocket Man, “Benny and the Jets”, “Daniel”, and “Hold Me Closer Tiny Dancer”...just a few of his greats
Pretty Sure they did Rocket Man a while back. LOVE Tiny Dancer!!!! I really can't think of a song that I don't like by Elton John. Seen him live 2 times back in the 90's he was incredible!!!
Billy Joel, a contemporary of Elton's wrote and sang Piano Man. Both are incredible talents and made HUGE contributions to the 70s, 80s, 90s, & into the 2000's. 🥰
"Someone Saved My Life Tonight"! BTW, Elton is very active in organizations researching & treating AIDS. He also played his song "Candle In The Wind" at Princess Diana's memorial. The song was originally written about Marilyn Monroe, but he & his writing partner Bernie Taupin changed the lyrics to honor Princess Di.
TWINS, why haven't you guys reacted to the G.O.A.T. of female vocalists...Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin? SONGS: Rock Steady, Something He Can Feel, Ain't No Way, Jump to It, etc...
@@eileenalderman7773 EXCELLENT choice! Aretha at her vocal prime and the track was produced by the one and ONLY Quincy Jones! In fact, he produced the album!
Guys Elton John is one of the biggest stars of all time. You need to listen to all of his other hits and trust me there are many! I love this man and his voice is just incredible!!
Thank you guys, for your really entertaining videos. I love hearing your opinions, and I love the fact you are so open to hearing so many styles. You need to listen to 'Into My Arms' by Australian artist Nick Cave....he is unbelievable. One of the greatest storytellers in music today.

Sir Elton John is my absolute favorite singer/songwriter of all time! "Your Song" is a beautiful song that he co-wrote with his longtime writing partner, Bernie Taupin. I think you guys already reacted to "That's What Friends Are For" that Elton sings with Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, and Stevie Wonder. If you guys ever watched the original film The Lion King (1994), Elton (and Tim Rice) wrote alot of the songs for that film. Check out "Bennie and the Jets", "Tiny Dancer", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", "Rocketman", "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me", "Island Girl", "Someone Saved My Life Tonight", "I'm Still Standing", "Candle in The Wind", and his duet with Kiki Dee "Don't Go Breaking My Heart". And if you haven't seen the film ROCKETMAN (2019), then I strongly suggest it. It's a very entertaining film about Elton's life that also won an Academy Award for Best Original Song "I'm Gonna Love Me Again" that Elton and Bernie wrote.
Did you two boys know that he was "Knighted" by Queen Elizabeth II in 1998 for his gift of music and charitable actions for music? He is Sir Elton John. Pretty cool huh? He puts on SPECTACULAR SHOWS and I don't think I know ANYONE that doesn't love Elton John. He's always been legendary🤠❤
Yall are so positive, love the vibes. They just made a movie about Elton Johns life, "Rocketman," yall should check it out, its enough to make a grown man cry.
Lol! I watch you guys and think, man there is so much they still don’t know. For instance this outfit of Elton’s is tame compared to what he would usually wear back then. Btw, Bennie and the Jets is the jam boy!!
You need to look up concert videos of Tommy Lee from Motley Crüe! They have an EPIC drummer, Tommy Lee, who turns 360⁰ in drumset and sometimes goes on a rollercoaster live in concert every night! Look up Tommy Lee's drum solos with Motley Crüe sometime! You won't regret it!
