Eminem and Mariah had a "thing" I don't think they were officially dating but definitely hooking up and she tried to lie and say it never happened, so then Em dissed her, then she put out a song called "obsessed" I think and Nick made a diss track, so this is Eminem's response! It's definitely her voice in the song and Eminem apparently played some of the voicemails Mariah left him at his concerts!!

She did interviews denying they had ever dated and saying she didn’t even know him. She also said it in a tone suggesting he was too beneath her for it to be true. The first line sums it up - he dissed her because she denied seeing him. After her Obsessed video he was pissed off. I don’t believe she’s mentioned him again since this song.

This is his response to Mariah releasing Obsessed that was directed at him and Nick talking shit too. He and Mariah were hooking up for about 6 months. This was straight up Em giving it back to them and telling her she better get the song Obsessed off the radio or he would release all the pics and voicemails he has of her (she was denying being with him). That's her voice on the voicemails he they cut into parts for the song. The beginning of the clips of voicemails she was even moaning. Needless to say, she got her song Obsessed off the radio and she never spoke of him again.

Many people say it was about her denying Em but it was more like lying about it. She could have simply said we tried a relationship and i didn't work out. And nobody would have gave a fuck. But.. noo.. she had to lie about the stuff, and make it look like Eminem is a stalker or something like that. Then released the video song obsessed and even play herself as em in the video. She made decision to dig so many holes for Eminem, what she didn't expect is that it would backfire. The song did what it was suppose to like em said it's a warning shot. And the silence from Mariah from then on proves that he really got some some dirt on her. Because it where false statements in the here it has plenty of sueable/defamation things here. She tried to be a drama queen and throw dirt on em for nothing really(relationship fail, but you don't make public music videos making other partner look like a Stalker whilst telling press you never dated them).

I think he got his heart involved because he was on mtv and they said something about his love life. He sort of hinted that he was dating Mariah and the media went nuts. Mariah denied it and then went on talk shows to clear up that she doesn’t know him and he’s spreading rumors then she made that video “obsessed”. A few years ago Nick started talking reckless on podcasts saying that after he heard this song he went to Detroit trying to throw hands and he had wanted to fight to defend his wife but couldn’t find Marshall, imply that Em was scared. Em did that verse on Lord Above in response then Nick dropped those pitiful diss tracks.
