This is my favorite Eminem song. As a person who deals with addiction, the mental gymnastics he goes through in each verse to justify using are so disturbingly accurate and done brilliantly.
I live in Russia, I don't speak English very well, I used a translator for this text, but only one thing is true, your reactions to Eminem are incredible. Next, we will do without compliments, because everything is so clear)
I struggled with pain killers and meds for a long time. Depression too. And this song embodies so heavily what depression is. It's so visual and paints a clear picture of what happens once you get that low. A key name he does mention is Proof. I'm not sure how familiar you are with him, but Proof was Eminem's best friend and also a really good rapper. He was killed in the mid 2000s and after that is when Em's drug problem got REALLY bad, and for obvious reasons
Yaay 🙏🏻😊 i have been waiting for this This is lyrically so damn brilliant he paints a full music video with words here with such honesty So brave And thank you for another good reaction 💝
I'm at 4:43, I see it in your eye's your realisation of what he's saying and how he says it. Working class irishman, remembering that moment 😊. Lucky you. Tell your friends, I refuse to wait til the man is gone to admit that he's one of the best MUSICIANS ( REGARDLESS OF RAP), to ever live. For anyone who disagrees, Dilligaf. Not even finished but Top Class reaction 👍👍
As a fellow pill popper, this song hits like a gut punch every time I hear it. It is a painfully accurate depiction of how a person gets from point A to B on the road to addiction.
03/12/2024 I had my 6 year Sober birthday and I remember for Years being under the influence Listening to this song, wanting So bad to be Sober, or for life to be All Over. I Still listen to this song, but now it gives me "Eye of the Tiger" vibes in the Gym or on a Hike. Thank you for reacting to this!
Em is ok, but Slim Shady is🔥🔥🔥 The album: The Eminem show From the same era all his work, remixes, colabs ect are 🔥 Benzino dis, His skid on DJ Clue part 2 track 9, DJ Green Lantern - INVASION Shady Records Mix Tape (EU version) His Tupac production: Resurrection Shady records, Aftermath associated, D12, 50 Cent, G-Unit (Even The Game 1st album) All great productions that sound nothing like the later works.. If you wanna meet the real Shady, the fun and "the crazy evil baby" as is referred to on many occasions, thats where you can find it.
Hi Kathryn, have a song from a artist you've probably never heard of, the artist is Steven Wood, and the song is called "YOU WERE NEVER MINE" a beautiful bluesy sounding song that just sounds great. Enjoy it, I think you will like it. Thanks again
Just in case you aren't aware, you sound super hollow. I believe it's because your microphone is so far away. You may need to raise it up and pull it closer to your mouth so that you sound more crisp on the mic.
People say Relapse was a bad/crap albulm, I personally think it was one of his best. This song is great and when you hear it in order it holds up better IMO, but still great on it's own too.
Awesome insight in this track. Em is very honest. I'll make a suggestion in "Believe" by Eminem from his Revival album. It's a great track. I think you'd enjoy it.
I remember in high school this album released and I wasnt a fan because it was different. Its now one of my favorite albums of all time. Em is a genius
