debbie mathers had just sued eminem for $10mil for talking about her in his lyrics, they settled out of court for $10k if I remember which was less than her lawyer fees, he's basically daring her to sue him again lol

I've been blazing through your reactions this is the second one where y'all have reacted to the made for tv songs. I believe guilty conscience was the other one. The songs end up being totally different though because Em went through a stretch where he wrote totally different lyrics for parts of the song where they would normally just be bleeped out in a normal video. I'd advise listening to both versions,the best example of this is D12's Purple Pills which was called purple hills for their music video and they end up being two totally different songs that end up being even more hilarious after listening to both versions

Eminem mocked the slight against Elvis that was also used against him claiming they appropriated culture. Both lived in black communities and were highly influenced by the music. For Elvis it was gospel and blues. Both also were censored and seen as too controversial for the youth. With Eminem was his lyrics and with Elvis it was his gyrating hips. Both also blew the roof off their respective genres and opened it up to worldwide audiences. The comparison is made again in the track Eminem did for the Elvis movie.
