What a fantastic reaction! I smiled and laughed so much! Erik is absolutely fantastic! He ranks among the great rock singers in my book! Erik Grönwall was born in 1987. He won Swedish Idol in 2009. He was the lead singer in the Swedish hard rock band H.E.A.T. for ten years after that. Erik was then diagnosed with Leukemia in 2021, but survived. During his recovery from leukemia he started his RU-vid Channel. In 2022 he became the lead singer of the legendary hard rock band Skid Row, but left earlier this year to prioritize his recovery from leukemia because the intense touring of the band took a toll on his health. The story of how he got to be the lead singer of Skid Row is so fascinating, but I won't spoil it! I encourage you to find it out yourself and talk about it in coming reactions to his music videos! 😉 Erik is such a great guy. He cares a lot for his fans and is in frequent contact with the members of his RU-vid channel on social media. Especially on RU-vid and on Discord where he has his own group with LOTS of content. However, there was no hit with them, until Harry Nilsson did a COVER on Badfingers, Without You, two years later in 1972, which became a once a hit for Harry. Then 24 years later, in 1996 Mariah Carey did a COVER on it and had a big hit! Right must be right as Harry Nilsson cannot be attributed to this song, as it was written by Badfinger two years earlier.
I'm with you Donna. I've become a metal head too. They're really nice guys and most of the performers when I was young were all getting drunk and stuff. Eric is a great singer. And he's such a nice guy!

Harry Nilsson - Without You is the one we remember. This was a great cover by Erik. A great voice and range. But I guess I am too old because i will stick with Harry's cover. I think it really cries out. I was a Badfinger fan and i didn't even remember it until i looked the song up a few years ago to see if harry was covering it.. It was Harry that put it on the charts.
