@@soserious4738 yes, he suffered a massive heart attack & nearly died. When he recovered he went solo & switched up completely on his style of music. His real name is Erik Francis Schrody. Everlast was his stage name. ✌🏻
@@soserious4738 this is whitey Ford. Lol yes the dude Eminem BODIED BUT THIS ALBUM WAS DOPE. LISTEN TO WHAT ITS LIKE. BEAUTIFUL SONG. MAKES YOU REFLECT
Thanks for showing respect to the long-haul truckers out there. That was my step-dad for many years. It was hard on all of us, but he did what he knew how to do to support us. So thank you.
Everlast is so underrated. I used to have the "Whitey Ford Sings The Blues" album. He has such range. Hip-Hop, Blues, Rock, Folk. He does a little bit of everything.
While we're on Everlast, you should listen to their song "What it's Like", if you haven't heard it before...promise you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the music 🎶
"THIS IS MR. VIDEOOOO!!!" *Yeets whoever keeps tellin Mr. Video to stop showin his goosebumps, like I'm Gerard Butler in 300, into a Hellish pit* Keep showin them chills, bitch! You ain't no robot! ⚡💖⚡
"What it's like" is a classic that still resonates now. "The Ends" is also great. I personally really like "I can't move" I think it is an underrated Everlast track
the message i always go from this song is "breaking your relationship because you are doing what is necessary to keep the realtionship alive". the driver was on the road to provide for his wife, who was at home wishing her husband was with her. and that is the blues in it's purest form.
You seriously gonna get goosebumps when you hear him sing What Its Like. Please react. Folks round here play it at funeral memorials. Very serious deep.
Hey, Don't be apologetic for expressing ur feelings thoughts or emotions, this is a reaction channel after all! And 'The Chills' Is one of the MANY reasons I LOVE watching your channel! I love that music is so powerful & when I get chills or my eyes tear up bc a song is so strong that it evokes something that I cant describe, but can feel it, understand it, or relate to it in some way! It's incredible that music can do that and it's pretty damn awesome when another person can share in understanding & relating to music in that same way! It makes me happy to see that you have that ability to connect with music like that, so PLEASE CONTINUE DOIN' U! ❤️🎧🎼😁
@Mr.Video I'm a couple weeks late. You can be sure the bell is on from now on. I agree with most people suggesting What it's like, Ends, Black Jesus, and Put your lights on. Those are his more popular songs and for good reason. Put your lights on is my favorite because I like Santana so much.
I don't usually watch reactions to songs I've never heard. That's made me CRY. I lost my daughter's dad last year, to a drinking problem but also he was a truck driver too. A good song I won't be listening to again lol.
The chills are good. Music speaks to your inner fire and as you know, it makes you feel. Happy, sad, energetic, emotional. And it can make you move without you noticing... That's why we love you Leo, that's why we suggest all those amazing songs that can change the way you think. And enrich your life. And you're amazing, the greatest proponent on YT of listening to the music and not seeing colour. Us oldies have always known that the music of our youth, and our parents and grandparents was the best. Music from the heart, body and soul. Untouched by tech tools, just pure talent and the ability to put feelings into beautiful words. And then they add music! Love and gratitude Leo 🙏
Just show them chills! it means you are trully feeling it!!! I love Everlast, never made a bad song. His latest acustic work is so awesome, you gotta listen to it!! good reaction!!
"ends" or "what it´s like" for more of his goosebump singin...and "slow your roll", or warporn industries with "worlds end", " day in the life", or "warporn industry" ft. B real for some newer rap from everlast!
❤"WHAT IT'S LIKE"❤ Amazing truthful lyrics. Really makes you THINK about stepping into another's shoes before opening your damn mouth. A lesson the world needs these days. ✌❤🎵
I was so glad to see you had reacted to this joint. One of my all time favorites, right up there with "Black" by Pearl Jam, another song about love and loss, as far as emotional impact.
btw, Everlast was the frontman of the Irish American Rap Group House of Pain, and after he left the group this is the outcome on his solo career, now he is part of another Rap group called La Coka Nostra alongside Danny Boy and Dj Lethal both from House of Pain as well as Ill Bill from Non Phixion and Slaine
Now I gotta listen to this record. I didn't even know at the time this was released! I thought "Black Jesus" was their last single from 2000. I was always mad they didn't put out more music - I friggn love Everlast. Thanks for resurrecting this for me and bringing it into my world of music!
