I lost my husband 4 months ago and I miss him terribly. I know in my heart how much he loved me and I loved him. Our anniversary is coming up in another week and it would've been 29 yrs together. I thank God for every year he gave me with him and I love this song...thank you for reacting to it.

I helped take care of him for the last seven years. Dad had a long, amazing life and passed two days before his and mom's 67th anniversary. I know how lucky am that we had him for so long but I just never know when those tears are going to start flowing.💜💜

The past couple of months I come close to losing my mom twice. She had to have surgery and remove part of her colon then she had the reverse surgery and we come close to losing her after surgery something went wrong and they fixed it and she had to stay in rehab for three weeks and she had also broke her ankle before she had the reversed surgery and she’s in a cast now. But I told God the only thing I want for my birthday which was September 26 is my mom to be okay and home. He gave me my wish. I tell my kids and my children in law, my grandchildren, my mother and sister I love them all the time. I also tell all my other loved ones when I can talk to them to. I always tell my children to tell their loved ones they love them because you’re not promised tomorrow nor the rest of the day. Don’t feel bad about crying it shows you are human and you are a good person, and everyone has feelings. Loved the video. Thank you. Love you and keep safe.

My mother in law and father in law are celebrating their 50th anniversary this month. Not many people stayed married like that anymore. It will be sad when one of them passes and I can't imagine how hard that would be to loose a spouse you have been with for most of your life.
My dad played this song for me multiple times when he was sick, he passed away at the start of last year and it just hurts so much to listen to this but at least I know he loved me 💔

Hi Rick, I am a white USAF vet. Both my parents were pearl harbor survivors and have passed away. My father was in the navy during ww2. He passed away in 1988. God bless you. Men who cry during tough times are my heroes. Hang tough and your father is very proud of you!

I have no grandparents left but I do still have my parents and many cousins/aunts/uncles, just the one brother. So much love to you for having to go through this, but *especially* now. That's tough. I can tell within 3 seconds if a video claiming to be Garth Brooks is him or not. There are a few that actually are REAL close, but because I've heard Garth Brooks on repeat over and over across 3 decades, I can tell just by voice inflection differences at key phrases. This was pretty obvious before the singer said a word that this was a cover, since the music didn't match what I'm used to hearing. I mean, it's a good cover, but it is misleading since it just isn't Garth. And yes, I know Garth isn't exactly copywrite friendly on YT. He's a nice guy, but he just needs to get with the times, as a lot of artists do, and let fair use be fair use. If anything, reaction channels expose new people to the songs they never heard before, and the people that have heard the songs have their CDs and etc already.
Sorry to tell you this, fam... the song, this song, was made famous, IS famous as sung by Garth Brooks... the person singing on this track? is not Garth Brooks. Garth is from Oklahoma. The accent in the North Pan Handle of Texas is different the central , eastern or west Texas. Oklahoma accent is different than the Pan Handle area or Arkansas or Kansas for that matter. People are / were used to a Southern accent, a Texas a cent, a Arkansas accent from Pres Clinton. When Garth Came on the scene, his southern accent is unique. Even Toby Keith a fellow Sooner and famous country western singer, is different than Garth. Garth 's strength is in falsettos and 7th notes. THIS is not Garth Brooks singing.
