This song is iconic! Ginuwine is way too talented. He's older, not old!! He was a great dancer. I hate that video is circulating making fun of how he dances now. Other songs..."Same Ole G", "So Anxious", "Differences" "In Those Jeans", "Stingy" "Best Man I Can Be" w/R.L., Case, and Tyrese.
This was THE bump and grind song of the 90s. Girl I didn't know at all pulled me onto the dance floor for this song. Danced it again 3 years later at our wedding.
I don’t think any of us females are critiquing his outfit 😂. I was like 16yrs old when this came out and I never realized he even had on a black hat til this video right here lmao 😂😂😂.
I loved this song!!!! Those were the days when my daughters were getting ready for high school. If a song had a beat, I loved it. Cool reaction Tim, you're fun to watch!!!! 😎👍🏼☮️❤️
Did you notice the cleve theme of the video? They went into an all white, country music type club and within the length of the song turned it into a R&B Funk spot, but it didn't chase the white patrons away, they began to groove along with all the brothers and sisters too. :D
Ginuwine has HITS, son... HITS. With that Timbaland production, Elgin was killing the late 90s/early 00s. Check out "Differences," "Hell Yeah" (not the remix, for reasons), "I'll Do Anything/I'm Sorry," "In Those Jeans," "Only When Ur Lonely," "Same Ol' G," "So Anxious," "Stingy," "Tell Me Do U Wanna," "There It Is," and "What's So Different."
Yeah this is the late 90’s and we wore baggy jeans that sagged back then. Actually “they” not “we”. 😅 Please check out another banger with Ginuwine, R.L., Case and Tyrese called The Best Man I Can Be!
Lol- my little sister and her friends were about 11 when they discovered this song. They used to play w/ their Barbies & my little ponies and sing this. Sometimes they’d “play “ ponies and sing this while pretend galloping in the yard. - wish I had a video of that now.
I was in high school when this song was on the charts. I remember being in hospital when the music video came on the TV in my room. In walked my surgeon with his team. I had to quickly put the TV on mute lol
In Those Jeans is my absolute favorite song by him. You gotta understand that when he was popular, no one had done such obviously sexual songs before. I promise you 0% of people watching this video at the time could even tell you the color of his shirt lol
GINUWINE was a bad boy, in his day, he was very talented not to mention, he was a triple threat; 1) he could dance 2) he could sing and 3) he was very good looking; fyi, blue jeans go with every color (white, black, blue, red, green, etc). You just have to coordinate, the color of your shoes, to match, the color of your shirt.
Ginuwine was the truth his catalog is crazy hits on hits on hits seeing him live and performing his energy is unmatched so anxious is another big hit of his
I remembered when this first came out and the last thing I took notice of was what he was wearing. I did not even realise he had a jacket on until now lol
You know, when most women my age hear this song, they start seeing Channing Tatum in that workshop…with power tools. And I did, which was great. At first. About 90 seconds into this song, I had a wickedly vivid flashback to my first apartment, and the worst stomach flu of my life. It kicked in about 3 hours into my last ever attempt at binge drinking. Saturday night, party in full swing, and this song just kept playing over and over, and there was this guy sitting on my bed, higher than a kite, playing video games. You know that friend that gets stoned and turns into a mash up of the encyclopedia, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and a psych major with a minor in theater? That guy was ten feet away from me, and I was too sick to strangle him. Every time I would crawl out of the bathroom and curl up on my beanbag chair, he would launch into some rambling diagnosis of what was wrong with me, which consisted of him saying “you’re not really sick, it’s all in your mind. It’s psychosomatic, dude, if you keep going in the bathroom and hanging over the toilet, you’re going to keep throwing up!” He was not saying the same thing 24 hours later when all my friends were at home, having their turn with that flu. The next time that kid was at our apartment, stoned and playing video games (it happened a lot) I pulled out a roll of duck tape and told him I was going to tape his mouth shut if he didn’t shut up. He didn’t believe me. He sulked about his patchy goatee for almost a week. But he did it quietly. 🥴🤒🤢👾🤭😶🌫️🤫🤐😈🤨
LMAO I'm crying at how you know about this man...at least it led you to his music, what can I say. "Pony" is Ginuwine's debut single from his first album Ginuwine...The Bachelor (1996). He co-wrote it with Static Major and Timbaland; Timbo made his breakthrough as a producer with this song. Rihanna also sampled "Pony" for her song "Jump" from her seventh album Unapologetic (2012); you may or may not have heard it before. Please react to Ginuwine - "Same Ol' G" and "What's So Different?"
Channing Tatum in this is 🔥🔥🔥 And I’ve always thought denim goes with ANYTHING-🤔 (still do) White matches EVERYTHING..🤷🏻♀️. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.. Great song and reaction Tim- 🤘🏼✌️✨
U R so much fun, Tim❣️GREAT reaction. LOVE Rate The Fit feature. It's always interesting to hear your perspective on fashion we used to think was so "hip to the groove" 🤣😂
That was the '90s some of the best r&b came out of the '90s and that is a dress shirt young man maybe if you would listen to some of this r&b that came out of that time you youngins will learn something he was one of the best and greatest voices and entertainers of that era and still is you're young now you have your youth but we all grow old
It's a white shirt... it matches everything. Don't know what you're talking about but I still love watching your reactions. You over analyzed this one lol.
Young one, white goes with everything. The jeans also had hints of white in them. so it definitely matched. Also, he was wearing black and white undies and the black cap sort of tied it all together. Now, enough about fashion. If you have ever seen a movie with strippers, then you have probably heard this song. It seems to be to go to song for those scenes!!!
Same ol G is the song from the tiktok and he doing that little side step😂😂😂 ginuwine danced in most of his videos. His first 3 albums 💕💕 some music be so good and its timeless, go back and listen to everything!
My dude, when you are cut like Ginuwine is/was, you can get away with almost any fashion choices you want. These are the guys who got to decide what was "cool". XD
Boy....wearing a white button down with jeans is a classic look lol. But Ginuwine is 51 now, he was in 25 here in this video. Social media makes fun of any entertainer who ages as if everyone isn't going to age.
The song was huge and still continues to be sampled. I didn't even really care that much for the song but recognize that it was a huge banging hit. That beat still hits extremely hard. As far as the outfit is concerned, that was what was in at the time. Denim and white go very well together and the black hat is an accent piece that kind of got swallowed up in the darkness at the top of the stage where he was. That's not the thing that was noticeable what was being paid attention to lol! Baggy jeans are coming back and people will be wearing them just like they used to back then. Keep doing what you're doing and keep having fun!
