Nice reaction My man!👍 Please react to Soda stereo - Sobredosis de tv 📺 live m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bHc_ITzArRc.html Trust me on this1, my music 🎶 knowledge goes far, all kinds, is good to be cultured in music, among other things (life⁰)😊thank you
From the UK, I knew about Cerati over 10 years ago but only now have I really started loving his music. Bocanada and the solo on Un Millón De Años Luz, then going out in a blaze ripping an epic solo on Lago En El Cielo before going backstage and entering a coma. Damn, what a guy.
calm down friend Don't get so jealous, we Argentines and part of Latam since 2010 that sadly we have to see it from videos or interviews. In 2010 he fell into a coma due to a stroke and never woke up again, after 4 years of being asleep, the moment came that no one ever wanted to hear, yes, Gustavo had passed away. All this, I am writing crying😭😭😭😭.
The mother has a distant irish ancestry. The father was the third generation coming from an italian family. Gustavo Cerati was born in Capital Federal, the main capital of Argentina. He managed to mix up all of his main influences with his unique style as well as his gifted talent guitar skills to design his soundwave. Coming from a middle class family. He was a prodigy, learning to play guitar and keyboards at early young age. In 1984 Soda Stereo, perhaps the most popular rock/pop band in latin america wass active, as they were able to delivered some lovely pieces of music and poetry. On the meantime, they were also touring all across latin America and some cities acros the USA at mega legs, performances, mostly for latin audiences. In 1992 they traveled to Spain to perform some tracks, taken from their newly album Dynamo. There's some shoegaze and alternative traces there. I would definitely recommend for you to listen to any song from this one. With blossoming and vague tick, he started a solo career by forming a temporary duo with Daniel Melero, another well known musician, particularly at the electronic scene in Argentina. The outcome from those recording sessions in 1992 was titled Colores Santos (Saint Colours). The following year "Amor Amarillo" (Yellow Love) was released. Once his agitated appointments with the band were fully completed. The group decided to part ways in 1997 and from then on, Cerati continued with his solo carrer until his sudden past away in 2014 due to an ischemical brain stroke. He succumbed into it while playing in Venezuela 4 years prior to his death. By that time a reunion concert with Soda Stereo was finally set off in 2007. His last album, available in 2009 was called " Fuerza natural" ( Natural Force) And that was it for Mr Cerati, wit distinguished accolades on how he accomplished his goals with music an eventually pulled off every single one of them. Among his major influences you may find different musical expressions from diverse sources, both popular and unpopular brits bands as well as not widely known ones. There was also latins and other foreing armonic musical thematics, popping out of his head. I sent my grettings to you from the northern side of the Argentinian Republic. Bye. (This text was refined)
Hi, friend. You literally made me cry. Gustavo is my love since childhood. I have been to many of Soda Stereo's concerts and it is just as you describe it. The energy is incredible. After his death I couldn't listen to his songs for a long time without crying. It was like when my mother died. I felt that a part of my life was dying with him. Please keep moving me and making me smile with every reaction to his career. Hug from Argentina. What should you keep reacting? ALL Soda and his solo albums
Much love! I'm sorry it hit you so hard but all the best ones do when they're no longer here. He was incredible and I'm glad you all recommended him and Soda Stereo for me to listen to ❤️
This song give us phrases like "I know by your marks how much you've loved, more than you promised" and "You are the most dreamed landscape" among others. Amazing lyrics.
Cuanto me gusta.
We get it, brother. We get it. Welcome to the love and the loss. It's been years since he departed this world, and it still hurts. The beauty of his voice matched to the magic in his hands. He was like no other. We miss him terribly. Thank you for your reactions.
Awesome reaction as always Luke! Try reacting to any song from his album "Bocanada" I'm sure you'll love the sound of that record. Keep Sabaton, Soda Stereo and Gustavo Cerati reactions coming, please!
So glad for this reaction! My favorite artist of all time!! Saw him in concert many times with the band and as a solo artist… even met him briefly when he sign my cd in tower records in nyc in 2006…Great loss when he passed…I would love to see more reactions to him and Soda. I just hope you could also see the lyrics because he was not only an amazing singer and guitarist, but an excellent writer…This song is very special for fans, more so after his passing. Thanks!!
Wow just noticed you answered me!!! 🤗🎉❤ I have been watching your reactions since you started learning about BTS (im an army since 2019) so I have been enjoying your reactions and journey greatly! Thank you for taking the time to reply! Yay!!!!
@@carlosgomez7172 Wow so cool!!! What a coincidence but also incredible that you found my comment here and everything! That day is something I will never forget! I remember Gustavo hugged me and replied to my words of thankfulness for his music with “it’s my pleasure” with his Argentinian accent…💘❤️🔥😱
Thanks to you and to this fantastic community for the enthusiastic reaction and introduction to amazing music that I'd never heard before and would never have otherwise heard of. This is absolutely on my playlist now. 💚
What a beautiful reaction!!! Thank you so much!!! 🇦🇷 Miss Gustavo. There's so much to see and to listen from him and Soda. I recommend you "11 episodios sinfónicos Corazón Delator", because is different. I still waiting for the reaction to Coldplay and Soda. I was there that night... Just incredible!!! Between tears and smiles! That night they play with soda: Persiana Americana, De música Ligera and then, Chris Martin invited them to stay, to play Yellow, that was so emotional. Cariños desde Argentina!!! Bonus track: check No existes from Soda Stereo and Puente from Gustavo live at Monterrey.❤️
I saw Gustavo in 2009, and Charly and Zeta in 2021. When Soda played for the last time I was a teenager and I couldn't go😢 Gustavo´s voice was incredible, he created a unique atmosphere around whoever listened to him! He was invited by the manager of The Police, to be the lead vocalist in a world tour that the band had scheduled. I love music and British pronunciation. Greetings ❤
He is just an Icon. I'm so glad you are discovering his music. He is truly a gem that should be shared with the world. Hello from Mexico. Love your channel.
Hola.
Great reaction!!!. Cerati one of the best singer-composer of the world!! Lago en el cielo is a master piece. For us, the fans, this song has an special significance, due to it was the last song that Cerati played (15th, may, 2010, Caracas, Venezuela) , after that he became sick, and four years late he passed away. The last phrase of the song "hacerte sentir algo que nunca sentiste" (make you feel something you never felt) is powerful. Cerati forever, he is more alive than never .
LYRIC lake in the sky a lake in the sky i want to be soft to avoid your harshness I put out your fire turn my water on there may not be certainties Let's go slow to find each other time is sand in my hands I know by your marks how much have you loved more than you promised Today I rushed you (I was so sensitive) they are mirages that increase thirst if I went ahead, don't listen to me sometimes I can't with loneliness Let's go slow to find each other time is sand in my hands. I know by your marks how much have you left to forget what you did feel something you never felt You are the most dreamed landscape and you shook off the most solid sorrows And you answered every time I've called you Let's go slow to find each other time is sand in my hands a lake in the sky it's my treat to forget what you did and feel something you never felt make you feel something you never felt
Dear friend, you entered Gustavo's universe.... I love your reaction and I understand your emotion, please react to En Remolinos live, your head will explode.... Bienvenido
This is truly the best reaction I've seen to my favorite rock song of all time-Lago en El Cielo. By the way, the lyrics take this song up a notch. That was truly one of Gustavo's best gifts-his writing. I'm also so sad that I never saw him perform live we even though I listened to this genre of music from the 80s to now. I think you should keep exploring Gustavo, especially his solo work. You just listened to a song from his 2007 album "Ahi Vamos," and another great song here is "Adios" from this live concert
Another amazing thing from Gustavo is that he is a great poet, his lyrics are incredible beautiful, that’s why Gustavo and Soda are really unique plus this music.
I saw him live with his band at the first big concert I ever went. That was back in 1985 at the Chateau Rock festival in Córdoba, Argentina. Funnily enough, Soda Stereo wasn't one of the main acts as everyone was super-hyped to see the mega stars of the time; Zas, Virus, Git - all good bands, but none like Cerati with Soda. I had no idea that they would become the biggest stars in Latin American Rock music of the 90s. I was just a teenager, overwhelmed by emotions.
Te recomiendo a Ciro y los persas 🇦🇷" Antes y Después" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e5egGC28OcY.html Y "Bajofondo con Gustavo Cerati" Con la canción "EL MAREO"😎 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NnFidFbwQSA.html "Rata Blanca 🇦🇷" "La leyenda del hada y el Mago" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4RveUP8fKA4.html
In this song he says "I want to make you feel something you never felt", and I think that's exactly what he did with his music. This is one of my favorite songs from Gustavo, hughs from Buenos Aires, Argentina!
Yasss. I love your reactions, but specially when you react to Argentinian music. 😊❤ I like this song, very good one. Gustavo had a great career with Soda, but also a great solo career. If you liked "Lago en el cielo" you should listen to 3 of his most popular songs: Puente Crimen Adios( official video 👇) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GUf81ofAZV0.html Those songs are great. Greetings and a big hug!! 😊🤗
Great reaction. Thank you so much for reacting to the best singer. I had the luck to go to two of Soda's concerts. Please react to Cosas Imposibles. You are awsome

Every song from Soda Stereo and Gustavo’s solo career is amazing … listen to the live versions ! Soda Stereo: Corazon Delator ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EfzORBnuUak.html Charlie Garcia is another music genius to react to from Argentina
Excellent reaction, that was AWESOME, you look like an Argentine because of the passion you put when reacting to this great artist who was Gustavo Cerati. I don't know if you reacted to this theme song En el séptimo día...this is the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QCmosflE5P4.html Please, react this song and thanks again for listening Argentinean rock. When you react Soda, you must say GRACIAS TOTALES at the end of the song because Gustavo always said. Hugs.
this is the last song he played on this planet. He played perfect as usual, said goodbyes to the crowd and immediatly after that went into a crisis that left him in a very long coma state. Did you know he had a song called Planta that describes in detail the vegetative state he fell into?
Hi man...I love your reactions, are so genuine!! I'm happy You are discover SODA STEREO and Gustavo solo carrer... You have many more to discover. I suggest You react to "ella usó mi cabeza como un revolver" from MTV "UNplugged"... You gonna love this song, thats for sure!!... You should check all MTV UNPLUGGED show, is a Master Piece!!. Maybe You can't react to all songs, but You should wacht it any ways...cheers, a Big hug...PD, sorry by my english
Gustavo Cerati, Zeta Bosio and Charlie Alberti......was a real monsters of latin rock!! I grew up with the music of the .80s and.....was awesome! If U can see the Cerati symphony concert....it would be great!!! Greetings from Santiago de Chile!!!
Gustavo was such an incredible artist, musician, performer, talented and gifted person. I was lucky to see him 4 times between 2007 and 2010 (I'm from Argentina). He indeed had (and still has) that amazing magnetism and connection to the crowd. He's been a human magnet across Latin America. And yes, I can totally understand you getting emotional. And when you understand the lyrics in Spanish (and then when you "click" with their meanings), you might get much more emotional.
Hi! I was sooo lucky to have known Gustavo and Soda Stereo from their very beginnings. They used to play in clubs in my neighborhood and Gustavo was also dating my best friend's cousin, so we used to get free tickets to their shows. We were teens, almost children, but since we were going with my friend's cousin, our parents allowed us to attend the shows. Even in those years, when they were a small and almost unknown band, they sounded amazing, and Gustavo, who was in his early 20´s, was already an incredible front man. I´ve been to almost every Soda Stereo show. I'd humbly and frankly recommend that you look for their entire discography, for your personal delight, beyond the reactions on RU-vid. In particular, I'd recommend that you look for - De música ligera - Corazon delator (if you like classic music, you could look for the version he did in "11 episodios sinfónicos") - Persiana americana And, out of Soda: - "El mareo": Gustavo's soloist with "Bajofondo Tango Club". Bajofondo is Gustavo Santaolalla´s band. Santaolalla is another amazing Argentinian musician, he musicalized several Hollywood movies, and even won two Oscars (for the soundtracks of Brokeback Mountain y Babel)
Thanks G !! One of the most emotional Gustavo' s song ever , this music touch my soul seriously 🥺🥺. I recommend " Disco Eterno " from Soda Stereo MTV Unplugged . Hughes bro !
