so yes, bae is crazy. her character concept as a part of Council is that she is the avatar of Chaos. and yes, she is a rat. her actual livestreams are fairly comfortable. a recent meme that she's been leaning into pretty hard is that she is the super-zoomer. she's done things like not know what Teen Titans was, and thinking the PlayStations 1 was the PSP, and has had some incredible interactions with older member, highlighted with a boomer vs zoomer stream with vesper noir, one of the english male talents of hololive

I feel like not enough ppl talk about Bae's voice. It's amazing and she has great range.

A few things: 1. Bae and Calli have the same Live 2D rigger (the person who set up their 2D avatars to animate in relation to their face tracking) and thus share a "parent" and making them sisters. 2. The HoloEN generation Bae is a part of is called "HoloCouncil" which is made up of avatars of concepts. The other 4 members all have titles in relation to their concepts suggesting they are the concepts themselves: Speaker of Space, Keeper of Nature, Warden of Time, and Guardian of Civilization. Bae is the exception, she's just "Chaos" and has no fancy title because of that. Ironically, she's the one that's supposed to be in charge of the Council, which she seems to be very adept at doing. 3. Bae, IRyS and Calli form a unit known as "CHADcast" because Bae and IRyS tended to be the ones who would show up into Calli's open voice chat during her Jump King streams because they live in similar time zones and have since started a monthly podcast where they really just get together to shoot the shit on stream. ("CHAD" in this case is short for "Chaos (Bae), Hope (IRyS) And Death (Calli).)

Her character is supposed to be the embodiment of chaos... interestingly enough she's often the most sane in her generation... She also has a wonderful side to her singing, and her fans are called BRats

Her music in different genres. In contrast to this energetic song, there is: *Blooming in the Mud* - duet with Towa, she pushed her strong voice to match Towa's singing *A Million Miles Away* - with animation from fanimator Alice Magic *Hontou no Oto* - very calm and snowy

She's literally the incarnation of chaos, but she might not be as crazy as some of her team-mates, but they aren't so outright chaotic. Nanashi Mumei for instance draws cute things and then suddenly draws things of absolute horror, and after releasing her original song decided to promote it by doing a singing stream where she sang that song 50 times in repeat. Having watched it live, it will never leave my head. (So I can't recommend it because it gives me trauma, but it's probably nice to a newcomer)

You can just call her Bae. She is my favorite among my favorite voices in holo. She has a good range, so the Calli sounding notes are actually her. It's good she reminds you of Calli, because they refer to each other as sisters. All her covers are amazing, and she is so versatile. From her very high notes and her very deep deep voice, she can also rap really well. Majority of the covers are all different styles of her voice and I love it. Fun fact the "Now sing baby" line where she uses her deep voice had two versions a higher version and the one that made it to the final version. Bae apparently chose the one that made IRyS laugh the most.

Bae's original song. Such a banger, probably one of the most danceable Hololive songs. And a good part of that banger-ness comes from the composer Camellia, famous for his fast and switchup-heavy tracks. You've heard him before on Marine's "I'm your Treasure Box" (although that wasn't just him). If the style appeals to you, you might want to check out "Lioness' Pride" by Shishiro Botan, or the (in my opinion) best Calli song "Scuffed up Age".

LET'S GO!! Baelz (hay-kos bay-lz, almost sounds like "bells" with more of a long A sound, but she largely just goes by "Bae") is the rat of the group, and she is SO much fun and this song is no exception! Given that her character is the embodiment of chaos itself, this song is a perfect first original song for her as it's nonstop chaotic energy from start to finish (and you can largely than Camellia for that, he's an INCREDIBLE music producer that has done a lot in the Hololive sphere as well as a bunch of originals and vocaloid songs as well). All of the vocals in the song are 100% her and she absolutely kills it! Calli also has a few songs from her album UnAlive that were composed by Camellia and they all have this similar chaotic style that's so much fun. If you like this, definitely check out Dead On Arrival from Calli and Camellia. Bae is part of the generation of HoloEN called Council which is comprised of the avatars of different concepts such as time (Ouro Kronii), space (Tsukumo Sana, who unfortunately left the group last year), nature (Ceres Fauna), civilization (Nanashi Mumei), of course, Bae herself as the avatar of chaos. Also, IRyS, who debuted on her own outside of a typical "generation" (she's part of Project: Hope, something we don't really know much about) due to her being more of a Hololive Vsinger, has usually been grouped in with Council to form what most fans refer to as "CouncilRyS" (council + IRyS), especially given that she herself is the embodiment of hope and despair. Unfortunately Bae doesn't have any more originals to her name just yet, but she has done a few covers as well that also help show her vocal depth, with my favorites being "A Million Miles Away" (a cover of a song from the anime movie Belle) and her cover of Hontou no Oto. Both of those are slower ballad-type songs that she just kills. But yeah, you hit it exactly. Her and Calli are very similar and actually get along very well. In fact, she, Calli, and IRyS all have a monthly podcast they call ChadCast where they just talk about random shit and it's super fun as well. For recommendations: Suisei's "Stellar Stellar" of course, "Hinotori" from Kiara, and My Roar (マイロア) from Towa. For someone new, check out Shirakami Fubuki and her originals "Say! Fanfare!" and "KON KON BEATS". She's a completely different style from anything you've watched in Hololive so far as she goes more of the cute, adorable route but she's also a really great singer just like the rest of them. Fubuki also did a cover with Marine and AZKi of a song called "Maware!" (回れ!) and it's also a great one as those three harmonize really well together. Great video as always, dude!

Others have already covered most of the details but one I haven't spotted regarding Bae and Calli is that Calli was one of Bae's inspirations before joining Hololive, so it was, for one of many reasons, a dream come true for her getting to join HoloEN. Bae is fantastic and her range is AMAZING. You'll be shocked listening to any of her other music; the contrast itself will probably shock you more than either song would on their own. Also, I think someone mentioned that "chu" is Japanese onomatopoeia for a kiss sound, but it also doubles as onomatopoeia for the sound a rat makes (squeak); it's shown in the video subtitles at one point but it's easy to miss.

To contrast the chaotic.. Extreme, that is PLay dice. she did a cover of A Million Miles Away that is just, out of this world. Also for the name most just call her Bae.

The rat of Hololive Council. Bae has got some good song choices in her content even if it's not her main focus. She's pretty fun, a hopeless zoomer, and despite being in Hololive EN her Japanese is actually really quite good! She has some pretty good interactions with the rest of EN, JP, ID so definitely recommend checking those out for people interested in her. It's one of her strong points. She should be filming something with Watame on the 19th as well as part of the sheep's "Have a nice day!" program which will be fun. That program is basically offline content like travel vlog type stuff, card games, etc. Really interested in what the two of them have planned for it. For songs I think I'll recommend Watame's Zero no Ashiato this week!

Bae's ballads are absolutely beautiful. Should check out one of those some time.

It's Pronounced "Hay-Caus Bae-L-S", she is Chaos embodied, and she is Calli's little sister by having the same Rigger Jujube, commonly refered to as a Papa/Mama alongside the Illustrator, so we Deadbeats tend to call Bae "Aunty" or "Aunt Baelz." Bae is probably the most chaotic but will also randomly become a Tsundere when ever a senpai graces her stream, or ends up in a Yabai situation, or and foremost IRyS messes with her.

Bae is pretty great. But there are more great singers in Hololive to discover. If you want to see someone having the blast of his live, check out The 8-Bit Drummer's live drum cover of this song. Guy is a beast at the drum set and has established himself in the fan community to the point that he's even recognized by the JP talents and got to submit one of his one-shot drum covers to one of their event streams. Playing along to songs he has never heard is impressive enough as-is, but for a song as chaotic as this? Oh boy...

Hakos Baelz (often called Bae) is the "Rat of Chaos" and is one of my favorite members of the EN branch of Hololive! Glad to see you finally giving this one a listen! Highly reccomend the covers she's done, as well as content from her fellow members of "Holocouncil"!

I want to recommend "Raven's Paradigm" by Banzoin Hakka, the first Metal song by a Holostars and the first Metal song in all of Hololive by an actual Metal vocalist.

aah Our "chaos zoomer" rat, she has an amazing voice and I would highly recommend some other songs from her like Hontou no Oto and A Million Miles Away (both covers). Those are totally different from this one, but shows her amazing vocals. Also any song which is being touched by the producer Camellia is an absolute banger. So I would recommend some Camellia songs, like Fullflavour Ondo and Can I friend you on bassbook (Yes I know everyone those have Nanahira in it xD).

Finally getting to Council, Holo EN’s second generation. Thanks to the towering presence of Calli and Gura they may come up a bit short in the music department compared to Myth, but they are nevertheless still pretty incredible, with Bae here in particular being a stand out, how much so won’t become fully clear until you’ve heard some of her other songs which contrast this one completely. Her some times singing partner, Nanashi Mumei also has a lovely, soft voice though and is definitely worth checking out. Then there’s Ouro Kronii, another excellent singer. Her cover of the song Mafia is one of the most stylish Hololive covers I can think of. Ceres Fauna, a talent with a delightful speaking voice which she uses to great effect for ASMR; she’s less suited to singing, but still does put in the effort and has put out a pleasing original Let Me Stay Here as well as a solid cover Cute Na Kanojo. And finally, Tsukumo Sana, who sadly retired from Hololive last year but not before putting out a delightful original, Astrogirl. Bae is great though. Cute Australian rat. In addition to her genmates, she’s closest with her sister Calli and her sometimes-wife IRyS, both of whom she does a monthly podcast stream series (CHAD Cast) with.

Bae got an very wide vocal range, though she uses it a bit more for doing some voice acting shennanigans, rather than singing alot of times. She is great honestly. She has a fantastic sense of humor. Its funny that you bring up Calli here, because Irys, Baelz and Calli actually have a podcast together they call "Chadcast" because those three get along very well. I would certainly say that Calli and Bae have similar personality types.

Camellia is known for making crazy tracks like this one that somehow organize the most chaotic combinations of sounds into absolute bangers. You should definitely check out some more Camellia songs. Hakos Baelz, our rat resident from underworld (aka Australia). This song is absolute chaos and fits Bae perfectly! (she's supposed to be the representation of the concept of chaos, but probably the less chaotic of the group). A perfect first original! Really talented! I would say that of all the girls in the EN branch, she is definitely in the top 3 singers, alongside Irys and Gura. You should definitely listen to her others songs, like 'Hontou No Oto' , 'A million miles away' or her more recent collab with Towa on 'Blooming in the Mud' The song was made by Camellia, he's very well known in the rhythm game community as his tracks are some of the hardest songs in any rhythm game title. He has composed a few tracks for Hololive: The HoloMyth Image Album (five instrumental tracks, one for each member), the UMISEA collab track "Domination! All the World Is an Ocean", and Botan's first single "Lioness' Pride." As a side note, we had another girl from Australia until last July Tsukumo Sana, but she had to stop her activities because of health problems (plus juggling with her other job became complicated for her). I hope you will react to her song 'Astro Girl' at some point, it's a very cute song.

A couple fun factor. Bae's character design and modle were made by the same people or person behind Cali's so on her debut she said that they were "Sisters" also Bae has openly said how much she looks up to Cali's musical career.

You had her name right the first time, though she accepts "Bellz" and prefers to be called "Bae". The song had a big Living End vibe for me. And yes, it was her voice through the whole song. Other songs she has done is "Hontou no Oto" (Your True Voice), a cover of Kokia's haunting and beautiful song. She covered a song from the movie Belle, "A Million Miles Away", it's 8 minutes long operatic song, but its so beautiful the 8 minutes fly by. She's done covers of "Animal" and Kanaria's "Queen" with Nanashi Mumei. Her "Strange" cover is a twisted yet impactful semi-rap. She's done a Halloween and a few Christmas song covers, and finally a powerhouse of a song she covered with Towa, "Blooming in the Mud". I don't think any of her covers are of the same theme or tone as her Play Dice song, they're COMPLETELY different.

Definitely clicked this one on sight. 😂 Yes Hakos Baelz (Bae) by lore is the concept of Chaos, hence why this MV and song feels like its just high intensity madness. Bae herself can cover a huge range of vocal styles, as you can see if you check out some of the covers she has on her channel. I recommend her latest one, Blooming in the Mud, with Towa. She absolutely matches Towa in the power of her voice, its stunning. Some of her karaokes have literally given me chills with how crazy her vocals are. She still needs to gain some experience and learn to control her range a bit better, but keep an eye on her, she's going to be one of the major powerhouses of the Hololive singers one day. I'd put money on it. As a side note, It's funny you pick up Bae's similarities to Calli because she is quite similar. She even calls Calli her older sister (because they share the same 2D rigger for their models), and does share Calli's hard work ethic. Bae always has projects she's working on, usually to the detriment of her health at times.

I know this video is 4 months ago but looking at the comments, i think barely no one mentioned these stuff: - @4:08 you were surprised with the insane beats, coz the one who collaborated with Bae is the one and only Camellia. he collaborated with other talents too like Marine-senchou's "My Treasure Box", Botan's "Lioness' Pride", Calli's "Dead on Arrival" & several more. he also produced several insane songs in the game Beat Saber like "Spin Eternally" & "Final-Boss-Chan". - The one who introduced Bae to Camellia is our one & only cinnamon roll, Sana. she talked about it on one stream and to sum up her impression of Camellia is "He's crazy". - Bae's voice range is actually insane. i dunno if she's just holding back or smth but i bet she's close to Risu's voice range. - Lastly, Bae recently just released a new song called "Psycho" and once again she shows us why she is the embodiment of CHAOS.

So you've already met the first hololive of the 2nd generation EN (English) Council - Bae. Bae is a rat and also a Chaos at the same time. There are still 4 left to meet - Ceres Fauna (guardian of Nature), Ouro Kronii (Warden of Time), Nanashi Mumei (owl and Guardian of Civilization) and the last one who has already sadly graduated (quit) - Tsukumo Sana (Speaker of Space). Again, I will recommend Nanashi Mumei with her song A New Start. We know you adore Gura, and Mumei is called Gura's sister or twin because of her very similar voice (which even they get confused, I recommend clips of it) and having a similar sense of humor, and it is sometimes said that they share the same brain cell. On top of that, Mumei is also very talented when it comes to singing. And the song itself, A New Start, is brilliant both musically and animation-wise.
