These guys are hardcore, not metalcore. Not many cleans but a ton of great singalong verses. A lot of their stuff is heavy as hell, but inspiring. Great gym music. Listen to "Live for this" as a great example, even if you don't react to it.
When it comes to the lyrics, hatebreed comes with the most inspirational lyrics and like empowering lyrics. That's what I love about them. Songs like perseverance are my favorite
@@fachinimichael I have a bracelet tat from the track A Lesson Lived, Is A Lesson Learned. "Some Scrars Are Meant To Be Worn With Pride" It was the artists first actual real skin tat, and I made her free hand it lol
Hatebreed is hardcore, no pretending and no cleans. However very anthemic chants and positive messages. Look back at the album 'Perserverence' from the early 2000's and you'll be hooked. 'I will be heard' is probably one of the most motivational songs ever.
Use to be a 120 pound alcoholic. Got into the gym with hatebreed music and now I’m 190 pounds pure muscle, healthy and sober. This music got me out of some very dark times
First of they are not metalcore, they are hardcore punk band. And dude, this song is not a great gateway song to this group. It’s a badass song nonetheless. React to “Looking Down The Barrel of Today”, it’s one of their littest songs. And this group is amazing for gym. Pure adrenaline mixed in with testosterone.
they have a very motivational and inspirational song and talk about how much they dedicate to their fans and how you should appreciate everything. The song is called looking down the barrel of today
Hatebreed is definitely an aquired taste. I actually like listening to them at the shop rebuilding diesel engines. The engines seem to be a little more angry when we're done with them lol.
You probably would like their later stuff tbh. They don’t do singing except on a couple of tracks because that’s just not their thing with their sound. Try A.D., Drop the Blade, Honor Never Dies, or 7 Enemies
As a LaVeyan guy Myself and a staunch Patriotic Constitutional Capitalist Citizen of the USA...AmFi, MAGA the irony of My being like no. 666 whilst purposefully looking for HateBreed reactions and your reaction is here...I can dig!!!
Hatebreed is an amazing band, if you ever want to come back to it you have to listen Honor never Dies or Weight of the False self. Songs about values and responsibility, something we all need more than ever.
Maybe try the lead singers solo project called jasta. Way more up your alley than hatebreed. Try set you adrift, nothing they say, or something you should know
Hey man. Just wanted to say thank you for the positive energy you bring to your videos. I only found out about you the other day and I've been binge watching your metal reaction videos, especially Motionless in White my favorite band, and you have brought a smile to my face that I haven't had in a long time. Not to get too personal on you but I suffer from a slew of mental issues: depression, anxiety and the like, and just watching your vids help me out. While I am not a Christian myself anymore, bad experiences, you give me hope that there are people in this world who genuinely care about people, whether they know them personally or not. Keep doing what you're doing and never change. The world needs people like you to keep the rest of us going.
Yo D-Gibb. Hatebreed is more of a hardcore band than metalcore. They don't have any clean vocals, and it does tend to get repetitive, but Jamey Jasta does come with some of the most inspirational lyrics ever. Perseverance, This Is Now, To The Threshold are just a few.
I know he picked these guys up because of patreon, that's whatevs. But I did request them last winter through comments on the good ol TouYube..just saying lolol
I will be heard and perseverance are great tunes, but you won't get cleans with hatebreed because its not really metalcore, its hardcore/hardcore punk. Great inspirational lyrics though!
