FIRST TIME HEARING | Insane Clown Posse - Clown Drippin' | REACTION 

Couple things: During this time period, rappers were adding "cool" sounding syllables to bend and force rhymes. "Fo' Shizzle my Nizzle" like Snoop Dog, "Wiggity wiggity wiggity whack" like Criss-Cross. With ICP it was "Jugga" because it goes with "Juggler" and "Jugular" Of course with their accent they both sound like "Juggla" They mixed it with some spanish words like "Loco" Juggaloco and "Juggalocoro" and "Jugga-Lugga." One day, people started calling themselves Juggalos. That's a fanbase thing. The Face paint and characters sort of comes from their Wrestling background. You see they wanted to be wrestlers. Lots of Wrestlers in the late 80s had facepaint. Think Sting, Ultimate Warrior, Vampiro, Demolition, Legion of Doom, and The Great Muta, Before they donned the Makeup they were called "Inner City Posse" and they had a breakdancer who wore a clown mask on their first record "Dog Beats" I think, and when they saw he got a lot of attention, they changed the name to Insane Clown Posse and donned their makeup. They used to have four members, eventualy they dwindled over time to just two, but the Juggalos (their fanbase) themselves are part of the Insane Clown Posse. It doesn't just refer to the two of them. Then you asked about drip. Drip nowadays refers to style, but yes, they are also making a reference to being dripping in Faygo. They have been soaking people in Faygo since the early 90s, maybe even before that. No, they don't own Faygo. No, they don't have a partnership with Faygo. They just like it because it represents poor working class folk, like how they grew up. Faygo...isn't particularly happy about being unwillingly associated with the Insane Clown Posse. The older owner of the company just doesn't get it. If you look at their commercials they are SO wholesome, and antithetical to what ICP is all about. I think I answered all of the questions. Yes they refuse to conform but if you want to know what ICP is and what they're about you will have to go through their joker card saga. Starting with the carnival of carnage and ending with the wraith, shangri la. Each joker card or album has a particular message and once all are listened to you will know the message. But incase you still can't figure it out they made a song called the unveiling which is the final song on the final jokers card album in which they lay it out plainly. Highly suggest you going through the saga. The first three albums sound older and un sophisticated but their sound comes to maturity and gets better in the 4th card the great malenko through to the end of the saga.

ICP was and still is about all things detroit, faygo is manufactured in detroit, also very cheap, in the 90s they were brainstorming ideas to set them apart from other rappers, (as if the clown gimmick wasnt enough lol) but, u know how run-dmc rapped about Adidas shoes? an the beastie boys rapped about white castle hamburgers. well..ICP decided to rap about faygo :)

Faygo is as sweet as it is because it was created by a couple brothers who were bakers in Russia and came to Detroit...Faygo came about based off the frosting flavors they used for their cupcakes

But in order to know exactly how we feel, you would have to run the train yourself starting with carnival of Carnage. I suggest "Homies" its one of my favs and alot of fun. Whoopx2

Oddly enough faygo refuses to be associated, Violent J has spoke on this & had interest in creating their own flavor which faygo declined & J mentioned they wouldnt even have to make it a full release just them design one just to use and sell at their shows & gathering for the fans to purchase which was also declined, from what he said they dont even get a discount they pay what carry outs & stores pay for the product. They had thought when the old guy who was running it moved on or retired that the next in line would be all for it but so far no dice. J has even mentioned flavors he would have liked to have made for the clown soda. The first i seen them mention this was in their shocumentary video 1997 & ha been spoken about in interviews & such up to modern day.

They've had much better music than this, and generally a good message, you just have to go back to the start. Hate that the beef with Twiztid is a thing, Twizted is still amazing to this day.

aside from their name which is a little bit funny never found anything interesting about these guys especially never liked bands that wore heavy makeup kiss being the prime example when u add that to their general lack of songwriting talent and predatory disposition towards female fans kiss was one I always went out of my way to avoid⚛😀
