Iron Maiden it's not just a band, it's an experience. When you go to see them live is like what you just said, it's like watching a Broadway heavy metal play. If you are gonna react to more Iron Maiden I recomend Rime of the Ancient Mariner from their Flight 666 DVD. That is Iron Maiden at it's finest.

In my opinion, the greatest hard rock, heavy metal band of all time. These guys started in the early 70's and are still rocking just as hard today. Still turning out great albums and World Tours.

I saw them at Ball Arena in Denver a few weeks ago. They still bring the amazing theatrics, incredible energy and musicianship that they did when I saw them throughout the ‘80s. Don’t miss them if you get a chance
'Fear of the dark' and 'Hallowed be thy name' are 2 (of quite a few) Iron Maiden songs that sound better in live versions. Some of the newer Maiden songs that tear it up live - 'The red and the black' ... 'Blood brothers'... 'Coming home' ... 'Dance of death'... 🤘🤘🔥🔥
If I have ever suggested this song, it would be this version right here that you did. This Rock in Rio version is life changing in a sense. Maiden were playing at their very best, but that crowd....just damnnnn!
Seen the boys in 1983 a few years before I graduated high school. This October, myself and my wife are going to see them in Tampa, almost 40 years later. Sometimes life is awesome.
Hi Mardii-Mar! I'm Jen! In the 80's, I was more into the hair bands, pop, & classic rock of the 70's. I didn't listen to much heavy metal like Metallica, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden etc... I was around age 11-17 at the time & thought the band's symbols, album covers, and lyrics were dark, evil, and kinda scary to be honest. Once I got a little older and dove into the lyrics of Metallica, for example, I was blown away at how deep & beautiful it was. The lead singers, guitars, and drummers were top notch! I too "got" why they are so popular & have die hard fans all over the world for decades. It's never too late to discover great music! 🎵✌️❤️
Had the pleasure of seeing them in the late 80s. Almost always do live when it comes to maiden. Their showmanship is part of their success. The exception would be their song Wasted Years where the studio and video is a compilation of their memories set to their music.
Look at those old geezers just vibing the hell out on stage! I wish I would be in that shape and have that stamina when I'll be their age! Bruce is drenched in sweat but still rockin, jumping and shouting like a teenager! What a power!

I liked your observations about it being like a play. I took my family to see them in 2019. My son’s girlfriend came with us, and it was her first time seeing them. She commented afterwards that it was like a Broadway musical.
I am so glad you brothers are listening to the middle that you brothers are partially responsible, for I feel black influence in America, mixing with white influence is an incredible combination. This music is not devil worship, although some genres of this music can be made to that, but that is the heavier not so good sounding heavy-metal. I am glad you’re listening the influence of both our types make great music together.
Iron maiden are a treat for the soul in either studio or live recordings. I wood definitely recommend you check out 'Evil That Men Do' - 'Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter' & 'Transylvania' which is a track they made with no lyrics. Epic 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
i think you were trying to come with "a musical". which isnt far off the mark. their live shows are theatrical and dramatic. its not just music, its an experience. (like Pink Floyd). bruce (singer) is very dramatic and flamboyant on stage. ive got tix to see them this summer. 5th time seeing them

They have an endless amount of god song and live performances. Could check out "Sign of the Cross" for some nice guitar solos. Also live from Rock in Rio. Else you have the more "mainstream" ones like: "Number of the Beast" "2 Minutes to Midnight" "Aces High"
