if you want to watch one of his worst reactions or reviews go watch the video he did on bohemian rhapsody. It was legitimately unbearable - and I used to love this channel ... it completely switched my opinion.

But my comment in this thread was made after i figured out nah im annoyed by him and it hasn't gotten better .... again .... the LAST one i watched was the bohemian rhapsody one. I dont get why after that ONE i would just abandon him forever when i have BEEN watching his videos (even tho i was never subbed). just go watch that video it's so fucking annoying

His 2 best “serious” rap songs lyrically are “River Road” & “Eastern Parkway”--I fear that’ll remain the case for as long as Jack is being rewarded for his catering to vast audiences rather than merely following his artistic muse (to be clear-I’m not clear if this was the Harlow we would’ve gotten no matter what). Mainstream appeal always seems like such a Faustian bargain CREATIVELY with only VERY RARE exceptions. 2017 Harlow, with his EXCELLENT, vulnerable and BEAUTIFUL “Gazebo” tape feels like SUCH a “sliding doors” moment in retrospect fr....I WISH Jack got famous off that tape A) bc it’s a nocturnal vibes/night drive CLASSIC with a ton of heart, skill and OUTSTANDING production, & B) it would have incentivized Jack to keep moving in this direction rather trying for broad appeal via busier production and amplified braggadocio, albeit with a very JH spin. “Gazebo” is still Jack Harlow’s BEST project and his one legit claim to a masterpiece of a tape (hold your laughs-no, seriously). It’s been a fairly diluted vision with increasingly bog standard production and craft since that ‘17 independent Harlow high watermark (imo!)
