FIRST TIME HEARING JEFF SATUR [ALBUM OF THE WEEK] 

A little context for "why don't you stay": It was an OST for a drama called "Kinnporsche" in which he also acted in. The guy you asked about was his partner on the show and the clips with him were from the tour they did together with the rest of the cast. Jeff is both an amazing artist and actor.

Last name is pronounced like “Saturn” without the “n”. His fandom is called Saturdayys, (play on his last name) SATs for short. He wrote, composed, produced Black Tie himself. Check the end credits. Black Tie is his first official English song. All of his other songs are originally in Thai than translated into English. His clothes worn in Black Tie was designed by Valentino. First time they designed for an Artist specifically. Steal the Show is written by Shaun - he is a Korean singer, composer, producer and DJ. Shaun wanted to collab with another artist. Jeff turned the collab down couple of times as he didnt think it suited him. But after revisions, voila they collab. Dum Dum is one of my top 3 fav. Dum Dum performed live by Jeff is awesome, any version! Yes, he does play few different instruments. One talented boy. He is a singer, composer, actor, writer, producer, blogger and a graphic artist. And yes, his signature scream high note. WDYS is where he became known outside of Thailand. And I am one of them LOL. He wrote, composed and sang this OST for KinnPorsche The series (BL series that in my opinion is unmatched for its mature BL mafia) which he also starred in. That was his co-star and partner in the series Barcode. Again, watch him perform live! Highlight is when fans sing it back to him, it’s what SATs fondly call the “anthem”. Hide shows off his range - not easy to sing at all. Have to say when fans try to sing it back to him it makes him and us laugh. Comedy - Billie Eilish comment - Jeff loves Billie so ya. His most well known at least most viewed in YT is Fade. There are 3 versions: Thai, English and Chinese. You should check it out. All 3 versions have a different feel to them and the lyrics are also different. He is trying to break into the Chinese market, so he can realize his dream to do a world tour. He just finished participating in a Chinese singing reality competition show called Call me by fire season 3. And he does not speak the language at all but boy he sounds like he speaks and understands Chinese.

Jeff is basically Thailand's version of Prince. Writes, sings, produces, arranges, acts, dramatic videos or stripped down. The fashion. Plays multiple instruments. Can act. Can dance in high heeled boots... Is riDUNulously beautiful.

in dum dum thats a traditional thai instrument called phin. also instead of steal the show i would've suggested a song called fade. that song is just beautiful and you would've known kinda a different side of him. same with his song lucid. the mvs for those are so damn good too. fade has like over 110M views. he makes all storyboards for him mv himself too. i love the man. super super talented.

Jeff said that in black tie he's telling his fans to be confident in their unique selves basically be yourself don't fall in line with what society says you should be, also Shaun is a Korean singer, he sings the mega popular way back home song that was all over tiktok forever lol

I loved him in kinnporsche and have seen pics of him all over social media, he is so iconic and stylish. I actually hadn't checked out his music but omg. he is amazing.

Jeff is amazingly talented in so many ways. Including playing instruments, and he not only has a great range, from deep to amazingly high, but also fantastic control of his voice. 'Why don't you stay' is easier to understand in context, as it was written for KinnPorsche, a BL drama he was in as a character named KIm......the other person you see in the video is named Barcode, he played Kim's crush/Boyfriend named Chay. The song is basically about their relationship, and the video used is about a tour the whole cast did together, which is why Barcode is together with Jeff onstage. This was also the song which made him known internationally to most people, although since many have remained following him for his singing skills. Dum Dum was the one he made after Why don't you stay, and really showed his range, not only musically but also in genre of music. Cementing a lot of people in loving his music. Especially as he is so manic in that video it's amazing. Lucid is a great another great song of his, which he drew up the storyboard for as well.........there loads of them and he is great in all them. I'm sure we haven't seen all his skills yet but I hope we will do in future.

In the "Why Don't You Stay" video, there are various clips from the World Tour , one version is in Thai and the other is in English, which is why the lips don't always match up with the words in this vid. Comedy is the OST for a very short BL on YT called "He She It" and the Tragedy version of the song is SO MUCH BETTER (IMHO) and is my absolute favorite! I agree with a few other comments that you should listen to Fade and Lucid, and also his duet Far with Silvy. Also his cover of How Far I'll Go - Moana is amazing!

So, the boy on stage with Jeff in the Why Don't You Stay video is Barcode. He and Jeff are the third 'couple' (pre-couple?) in the Thai BL mafia romance drama "KinnPorsche". Both Jeff and Barcode will be starring in their own BL Drama called "Wuju Bakery", sometime this month (November).

Jeff is a great true multitalented artist. He sing, write, compose, arranhe, and produce songs. He plays many kind inatruments even the traditional one. He debuted as singer in 2013 and as an actor in 2018. But as you say he is incredible artist without any full length album in time you made this video. He made many great singles under some labels. But now in February 2024 he released his first full length album under warner music thailand

People always recommend the live English version of Why Don't You Stay. And don't get me wrong, it's absolutely beautiful. But I honestly think his singing in the official version, the Thai OST version is better. And Jeff playing guitar is always a plus. But his voice is so much richer in that version of the song/video. (And I like the lyrics better.) Plus, to be fair, as huge as Jeff is becoming, this is the version that blew up his career. I mean it's all over KinnPorsche. And I love that it could basically be a next scene for his character in that show.

You should also check nunew, he is also an amazing thai singer. Few months ago he released his first official single called "anything". Unlike Jeff he doesn't have many original singles but he has numerous osts, by the way he is also a bl actor. He also has many covers (you can check them on his companys channel called domunditv). He also had a concert recently with his onstage partner Zee, the sang some beautiful songs like phantom of the opera and nunew even covered 7 rings by Ariana, flowers by jisoo and money by Lisa, you should checkout

Want to add on about Barcode (kid on the stage with Jeff) he’s really talented kid as well and Jeff love him like real brother, he taught everything he knows to Barcode and his voice, his pitches really similar to Jeff.

I feel like they should have shown you the video of Comedy that he did as the ending scen of the three-episode short story "He, She, It" It was more bone chilling and will give you gooseberries, maybe even make you cry (or maybe that's just me coz I got too into the entire story) He sang it in the slowest, most dramatic tempo and managed to inject so many negative and heavy emotions in the entire song. Despair, Longing, Misery, Sadness, Regret, Hate and Love... That version really made me think he was singing how his and his dead lover's life (as per "He, She, It"s story line) became the ultimate joke. And in the end he ended up having to suffer the aftermath of it all alone. 😢 Also, I recommemd watching the Official MV of "Why Don't You Stay" as the OST for KinnPorsche the series. It would give you a little context to what the song is about. (would be nice if you watched the series too but I know BL-related genre is not everyone's cup of tea) The one they suggested for you is a fanmade edit of Jeff performing that song on their Asian World Tour with the casts of KinnPorsche, that's why the audio doesn't seem to match the lips😅 The fan who did that vid did their best to stitch the best highlights of his performance of that song. 😂
