Philippines has a several thousand of band performing live all arround the archepela go. Nobody will hired your band if you dont have a very competent singer. I'll tell you in the late 60 up to 1990 and up to the present the favorate band of Japan nigth club restsurant and hotel are Pili pino band performing arround Japan. Most of the Cruise ship are mostly Pilipino musician band or solo artist.

He was one of the contestants of Nat'l TV Singing Competition in Philippines. HUNDREDS of Filipino Bands have been working as contract Entertainers All Over Asia such as (Japan, China, Thailand, Dubai, Bahrain, S. Sir Cain sorry to correct you but, sir Jerome Abalos is one of the iconic recording artist in the Philippines who sold many platinum albums in his solo stint and his band death by stereo in the 90s. he is the man behind the monster hit “Larawang Kupas” in the Philippines. aside from that, his band Death by Stereo is the first thrash metal band to be signed up in the Philippines by EMI Records. which also received a platinum award from their debut album. Jerome is also involve in a progressive metal group called Majesty and released an album under Ivory Records Philippines, “In the court of”. now currently singing back-to-back with his sons Solabros. check out his RU-vid Channel: m.ru-vid.com

Sorry to correct you Mr. Cain, but Jerome Abalos was never a contestant in any singing contest in the Philippines or overseas. He started in mainstream entertainment as the lead singer of the thrash metal group Death by Stereo, and is still the band's lead singer. He has several monster platinum hits, one of which is Larawang Kupas.

So happy you guys are trying so hard to keep Rock alive in your country. I so, so, hope soon, we'll see a resurgence of Rock the world over. Surely goodness, rap and hip-hop cannot dominate pop music much longer, and if there is no one out there, creative enough and talented enough to create a new genera of music, then it's back to Rock again, as it's as good a style of music as there is really. I had to check the original by Guns and Roses to compare and I was quite, surprised to discover that it seemed to be as good as Slash's himself! The Lead Singer is Jerome Abalos, the Father, on the Keyboards, Sean, Lead Guitar, Zachary, and Drums, Shane, are all his Sons. On Bass Guitar, Charlemagne is a later addition. I still consider them as Filipino Family Band. Because it was his Sons who started it all in 2015.

a bit of correction sir.. Mr.Jerome Abalos is still the vocalist of Death by Stereo...no one has ever replaced him...(the band was less active though) but they even had a collab with 2 other DBS crew(not the original crew though)..but the 2nd batch of DBS crew..new lead guitar, new drummer and new bassist.. later on they got Davao Invasion DBS Concert.. last 2017 or 2018 i think...plus Solabros as guest performers. ...i just watched interviews and videos as reference.
