One of, if not the truly greatest songs of all time. A shame we lost him in an airplane crash. It was his own plane he was flying to his next event.

Oh man Stan. I recently added this song to my library. I always loved listening to Jim sing as a kid. His voice is so deep and so smooth. His voice affected me they way Elvis's voice does. It just such a shame that he died in an accident so young, much the same as Elvis. Great reaction Stan. 👍👍

Elvis did this song justice. I’ve liked Jim Reeves since my preteens.

I grew up on Jim Reeves. I was 5 when he died, but I remember my mom playing his records and me singing with her. What a smooth voice. He was handsome and talented.

His duet with Patsy Cline on "Have You Ever Been Lonely" is great.

A favorite of my dad's. He could sing this song and sounded so much like him when he was younger. My dad passed in 2020 at 92yrs. Thanks Stan

This brings me back to my sweet dear grandma’s home. Her life was difficult, married to a selfish, vain, narcissistic man, no financial means of her own, and 5 daughters, not to mention the stigma with regards to a possible divorce. But when she listened to him, I saw her beautiful smile and glow she so rarely showed ❤

Can't believe more reaction channels don't react to Jim Reeves. His voice is like velvet butter. My dad used to listen to him when I was a young kid in the early 70s. Please do WELCOME TO MY WORLD.

This was my mom's favorite song, Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline and Charley Pride were played on the record player while she did her housework and it is the soundtrack of my childhood. Four Walls is another great song. Also Welcome to My World. Like Patsy Cline, he died in a plane crash in the early 1960's and was gone too soon, in the 1950's he sang like a traditional country singer, but when the more sophisticated Nashville Sound with strings, piano, and backup singers came along around 1960, he sang in his lower register and we got gems like this one.
