I dont know how he sang he was very emotional. He was basically saying goodbye. JK is the BTS member cries most easily when its about ARMY fans and BTS. Hes also the boxer and a blackbelt. This contrast endears him to ARMY .
You should watch his mini concert at times square. The concert is iconic because it was only officially announced 30 minutes before it started but managed to gather so many people. Army aka fans have been collecting hints and clues before that to ensure they arrived at the venue. He performed 5 songs from his solo album. You should also watch 2021 festa where BTS do a medley of their B side songs.
Just in case you aren’t aware, when people ask you to react to a mv, it isn’t audio. It’s a video. I’m sure you know, but I wasn’t sure by your opening. Just wanted to clarify in case it was confusing. Jung Kook wrote and produced this song as a love letter to ARMY. Maybe someday you will watch this whole concert. There is a really sweet moment that where he sat down and just chatted with ARMY first several minutes. This was the very last song he sang as a goodbye to ARMY. It was an emotional time for him and us. The next day he announced he was going into the military.
He was probably told to react to the color coded lyric video for this song and it's why he mentioned it. I'm sure he wouldn't misunderstand he importance of the MVs, just worried about copyright.
JK’s ability to go between his head voice and chest voice always amazes vocal coaches when they react to his live performances. They also comment how much emotion he puts into his singing, which is what makes a great singer and unforgettable singer. He’s just phenomenal. His cover of Falling by Harry Styles from 2.5 years ago is absolutely amazing. Especially when you realize his English was not good at all then. You’d never in a billion years guess that if you listen to it.
This was his last concert before enlisting. It was very emotional.. at that point, he was holding his tears, I don't know how he could sing well! Ah! This concert was transmitted live to us (Armys). I was trying to sing and crying like a baby... he's our baby, our bunny 😊 raised by his brothers (BTS) he grew up well. All the members have a very special bond with us, but I think he's the most attached to us. He likes to do livestreams where he sings to us, talks about everything, to him we are his best friend. That's why he was almost crying. His album, Golden, talks about a couple. None of the songs was written by him, but he chose those that tell a story about a separation (all of them are storytellers). One of the songs, Hate you, is so beautiful! To me, he's telling us how he was feeling about our separation during his enlistment.😊
I like that you look for Live vs anything else. Those lyric videos are always wrong anyway. Saw that you did his new songs. I don't much care for the ultra pop stuff, plus he didn't write those. But he did write this and he sings it so beautifully. He often goes live from his living room and sings for us which is truly amazing. I just found you, so I haven't watched much of your content to see what kind of music you like. I don't get the vibe that this was it. But the BTS journey, with their versatility can be a lot more fun than you expect. If you don't like a song, just try the next one. They are almost never alike. Are you more about music and flow or lyrics or just live performances? I will say these guys are almost always better live than the studio mv. RM has a new album called Indigo. He put on a concert at Rolling Hall, which was a very intimate setting and a lot of fun to watch. His title song Wildflower may be worth checking out. Also JHope's performance at Lollapalloza (maybe check out Enjoy BTS More's Lolla content). Hope you always enjoy your journey with BTS and any other artists you check out.
that was the last time he performed in front of ARMY before he left to serve his mandatory military service. We miss BTS everyday. Looking forward to their 2025 reunion.
Such an emotional concert for ARMY and Jungkook. You could feel how difficult it was for him to keep his tears back. ARMY is EVERYTHING to this man and he's never ashamed to share his love of us.
But that is the lyrics are a big part of the experience when you get to the right songs especially when you get to the rap line the words they choose are pure poetic genius in some of the songs mainly the rappers under the vocalists are very talented
I think you would enjoy BTS Room Live.. They do a sampling of a song from each of their albums. It will give you an idea of some of the different type music they perform. No dancing in this video but great live vocals. Curious what championship is being referenced in the photo behind you???? Here's a link to BTS Room Live if you are interested. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RRhjdYsNwAk.htmlsi=k3HJ3XUnX8qBGKOC
This was a very special concert he did for a small; crowd just before he joined the military, within a week. It was December. The audience didn't know he was going so soon, but he did. A couple of million people watched online too. We love our guys.
It makes me cry again. This was the last performance before he went into the military. This song means a lot to him and Army across the globe. I sure do miss him a lot 😢💜
Very nice , you can tell by the crowd that he is someone that people were drawn to thru his music . Best wishes as he is in service , his fans will be waiting patiently.
Thank you for reacting to this. Actually this was written by JungKook for ARMY in 2020. It was on SoundCloud until last year when it was released for all We were extremely happy with the release. ARMY is the fan name. I’m Army and JK is my bias. You might like Magic shop performed during the same concert as this song was performed.
It's very much a song To ARMY (the fanbase) purple is the fanbase colour. It has a meaning that V another member of BTS coined for us. 'Purple (Bora) meaning they love us and want to meet with us forever'. So you'll see people will put purple hearts in comments and or say 'Borahae'. So this song is a love song about/between ARMY and BTS. Jungkook gets quite emotional when it comes to his love of us (ARMY) he's a very soft heart young man. However as RM the Leader of BTS says his body is the opposite, he's a boxer, according to his trainer he could have a carear as a professional Boxer if he wanted. He's also like another member a black belt in a martial art. He's extremely strong but the softest gentlest and politest person you'd ever met. Just recently he received a llot of very nastie sexual hate comments on twitter due to having tattoo's all down his arm and hand as tattoos are something not really acceptable within the Kpop Industry especially if they have them on show. Same time his band mate Jimin was getting the same hate towards him for the very same reason his tattoo's. Jungkook and the other 6 members of BTS have always been different and received hatred and distrimination and personal attacks, death's threats and bullied by other artist from other Kpop companies, treated badly by Show hosts when they've managed to get on a Show. They've gone home from shows crying in the car from the bullying. Some of the stuff they've been through is completely disgusting because they came from a tiny company on the verge of going bankrupt. Their struggles are like something out of a movie. It's why ARMY are extremely protect of our BTS men.
Military service in South Korea is mandatory for 18 months. (North and South Korea never signed an armistice, so they are still at war). All seven members are now in the military. They are on top of all of the charts right now. It was very difficult to leave Army and their careers right now. Jungkook is the youngest and was one of the last to go. Still with You was to Army.
He is the youngest of BTS. He joined the company when he was only 13. This dhow was a fan meeting. You alreaedy know that they are all in the military now. I like that you exploree all kind of songs pf bts
This was only in December and his last concert before heading off to the military. The song is dedicated to the fans and has a deeper meaning knowing we'll be apart from him for 1 year and a half. If you dive in longer you will come to understand the deep connection between BTS and Army. We like to think we are going along in life together and equal partners. All the members have deep love and respect for all the fans that brought them to superstardom and plan to stay with them for life. 💜
That was November 20th. It was his last live performance before entering the military. The week prior he performed live on Times Square. ARMY always sings & chants. The guys write songs that have parts for us💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
His first concert (claims it was not a concert) I got up at 4am to watch this . Free performance and he paid for the venue and gave gifts to everyone (it was a raffle drawing )lots of fancams to watch and see his dancing songs also It was from his Golden album. He said he didn't have enough songs for a real concert. (Suga did a concert tour and I watched it live from Japan at my local theater ) They talked about it (him and Suga )On Suga's talk show on Bangtantv called "Suwchita. (wrong spelling ) I have seen many reactions to this show.
I love and appreciate very much that You react in the "What's going on" style and choose live performances!! ❣ Definitely continue in this style❣ (And take a break with the videos, it might help with copyright issues.) You are a great and very interesting reaction video maker, 💜 Thank you💜💗
Here Jung Kook sings to the audience (ARMY) and it is probably because this song was composed for ARMY and partly audio so that He could hear ARMY singing with Him. (this is just My thought on the matter🤓🤭☺) Ps. Important: This interaction with the audience aka ARMY is one of BTS' main strengths💞💜 They have been interacting on social media and live with Their Fans aka ARMY since 2012. BTS debuted in 2013.
💜🇧🇷💜this song is so beautiful and this is so special. 🥹 Jk is just a sweetheart 💜. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing you reaction to the other members as well. 💜
Their live performances are always amazing but the songs that have official mvs aren't just lyrics they also have stories, choreographies, beautiful visuals and great production which is why it would be better to watch the official mv first. You could actually watch both in one video many reactors do that.
Thank you for the captions, as you see, you have ARMY from all over the world in your comment who do not speak Korean but read English, so it's to follow along and understand. Thank you so much 💜
Would like to recommend his great live stages: "Let there be love" in BBC Ratio One, "Standing next to you" and "Hate you" in iHeart Ratio, "Standing next to you" in Tonight show. Great live performance you will enjoy.
I'm sure you've gotten this comment already but foundation info: BTS are 3 rappers who can sing and 4 singers who can rap. They can all dance, they all write, compose, produce, and they're all pretty 😊 So far you have 2 singers, JK and V. You need Jimin and Jin. For Jimin, I'd recommend Promise and Lie. For Jin my favorites are his live of the Astronaut with Coldplay with the introduction by Chris Martin, and Abyss. After those you could try the rappers. I was never into rap til I got into BTS, it's like they sing-rap, it feels like rock to me. 💜🇨🇦
His last song of his last show before enlistment. He was very emotional. I don't know how he got through it. All the BTS members will get overwhelmed by love for ARMY and cry on stage sometimes, but Jungkook does it the most often. He is so tender hearted. This must have been tough for him to get through. I'm sure that's why he let the crowd take it sometimes. This is a love song he wrote years ago for ARMY to tell us his heart was still with us while separated during the pandemic. He was telling us here that his heart will still be with us while he is in the military.
I know there are many comments letting you know that this was JK’s final live performance before heading off to the military but here’s more context to explain why he and Army were so emotional. JK joined Big Hit which was a struggling artist representing company (that’s another story) when he was only 13yrs old ( in interviews they say 15yrs old but that’s in Korean age which adds two years to international age - another story for later). He moved from Busan to Seoul (pop of almost 10 million) to live and train with the other BTS members. He is the youngest member which is a very special position in traditional Korean families. The older members especially Jin, being the oldest, practically raised him. Since they’re debut in 2013, they’ve done their own marketing, because the company was so poor and close to bankruptcy, via social media and sharing their lives through numerous tv shows so we know them quite intimately. All of the members have very deep connection to Army but in particular JK. He’s spent over half of his life (the formative half) connected to Army. His first tattoo was the word ARMY on his fingers. And when they accept awards they address Army first even before they mention their own parents. This is why this final performance was so emotional. There are other very moving moments which I’m sure you’ll get to later on: Forever Young in Wimbley stadium, jimin’s serendipity in Brazil, Agust-D’s Snooze in Seoul final night…
Hi from a Brazilian Army, forgive me if I make any mistakes in English. I would like to recommend some songs: -Wildflower from RM -Arson from Jhope - The Astronaut or Epiphany from Jin - The Last or Snooze by August D/Suga -Promise or Closer than this by Jimin
