I love 3D, the funky beat. I like that the variations come from Jungkook s singing. BTS let their features shine and stay themselves. Oct 20th, Too Much , a The Kid Laroi song with Jungkook and Central Cee, a UK rapper. I went on a deep dive with Central Cee and ended up watching his concert. 😂

You never know what you're gonna get with JK but what you do know is that it's gonna be a vibe lol. I really like this song but honestly prefer it without Jack Harlow (sorry Jack.. 😬) I think his parts could've been better but flow wise, it was okay. What I'm most anticipating is JK's actual album that'll be dropping soon called "Golden". These two singles have been just the appetizer and I wanna just get to the main course already! 😂 I'm also hoping for some korean songs bc although the english songs are cute and all, I really do prefer when they put out songs in their native language. I also just love the korean language in general and like singing along in it, so I *Need* some JK korean songs soon! 😂

I've seen takes float abt Ja*ck's lyrics & mis0gyny but I had my own interpretation of line by line & in combo w/ one another. Read on for analysis& commentary on the "controversial" lyrics🤓☝️ It's a long read *btw can we stop using JH I keep reading J-H0pe💀 ------ The dead body reference: I've seen/heard some interpret this as talking abt women & it being problematic considering yes there's systemic issue of harm in relation to women, men & sex. Most especially when a woman refuses advances. However, broken down in context I think the part abt the dead body in combo w/ the visual in the MV is actually what is being misinterpreted by some: This can be partly fault of the visual direction (director). Him stepping over a 'dead body' was intended to be 'kitchy' or funny but I think it could be misinterpreted that he's talking about the girl... when actually he's talking about himself! (Wait rly?, yes) "When I seen that body" (When he saw her) "you would think it was a dead body" (He was stopped dead in his tracks so -he- was like a dead body. Another way saying she's 'drop dead gorgeous') "The way I told my boys, "Come look" (He told his friends come look at her like, wow) 📍This is also kind of a reference from a cpl movies probably the one most may be familiar with is 'Stand by Me' but it's also from 'Boyz in the Hood' Is the verse creative or amazing, no but he def. wasn't talking about a woman atp except to say he saw one that was sp "drop dead" gorgeous he couldn't help but tell his friends to also come look. 📍This verse wasn't a way to say she was in any state of being unable to consent to an encounter or that he was calling his boys to come take their turn. The following verse talks about what he -used to do- vs what he feels now: "I used to take girls up to Stony Brook And steal they hearts like some crook, true story" - PAST "Now when I hold somebody's hand, it's a new story" - PRESENT How I took this part is his view is kinda changing on the way he views women. In particular, the woman he is currently 'with'. Again next verses seems like he's back in the 'past' of how he'd viewed his relationship to & expected reactions from women, especially considering his current "status" so this part is speaking from the bravado pov of a man: All my ABGs get cute for me I had one girl (One girl), too boring Two girls (Two girls), that was cool for me Three girls, damn, dude's horny Four girls, okay, now you whorin' (Hey, hey, hey) Hey, I'm loose I done put these shrooms to good use I done put my city on my back And the world know my name, I'm the truth These verses are actually him jabbing at himself in the past, it's not necessarily his present view this also comes out with the line 'now you whorin'' that's in reference to -him- not women. 📍Again I think visual in MV can maybe be blamed somewhat as this could lead viewers to think he's talking abt girls themselves, but he's not. Them there being lined up is like a visual representation of what he -used- to be like... thinking every girl was the same interchangeable and just another # on his long list "I got you playin' with yourself on camera" You could take this as bravado but also just truth of where their relationship is atp. Seconded. The chess game & details of grammar are subtle but telling. Jack’s “misogynistic put-downs” are actually less braggadocio than self-deprecations reflecting HIS own “past” lacking mentality towards women and relationships.
