For more info League actually has 3 music groups. The first was Pentakill, it's the term for killing every member of the enemy team by yourself in a short timeframe, which is a metal band that has actually released 3 full albums now. K/da was second, it stands for kills deaths and assists which is your personal score in a match, which you know of. Third is True Damage, the term for the highest form of damage you can do ingame, which is a hip hop group. These aren't season cinematics, those will blow your mind, these are basically advertisements for skin lines. Almost every skin line is an alternate universe with its own story line and lore. Sometimes skinline lore is more popular that cannon lore. So basically they put out a hype song like these and make you want to buy the skins to play them ingame. I've watched your reactions for awhile and I think you'll dig True Damage but you're gonna go nuts for Pentakill, Mortal Reminder is the video to check for them and the K/da video Villian. I also think you should check out the season cinematics, which are also music videos but not by the ingame groups.
The opening ceremonies are great. It is pronounced K D A, since it stands for "Kills Deaths Assists" that are in the game. Good reaction, always happy to see people enjoying this great group.
KDA were created for the 2018 world's opening ceremonies (the video you mentioned at the end) in honor of the Korean fan base and that years games were in Korea. They were supposed to be a 1 time thing but were so popular that they did it again in 2020 for the championship games in China, and released a mini album at the same time.

After Pop/Stars the internet was going nuts for K/DA. It had like 14mil view in the first week. It was a huge success and I think originally was going to be a one-off. But then all the comments were like "I need more of this." "MOAR!" "Please sirs, can we have some more." So the next song they released, about 2 years later, was called "More". And on its coattails was a whole album by K/DA called All Out.

Yes, we say K.D.A, not K.DA (wich btw stands for Kill, Death and Assist, a stat/score in game). Also, this virtual band was created by LoL, like True Damage or Pentakill, and one of the main reason of their creation are for advertising the new skins (don't know how to say it in another way)

K/DA is one of the biggest league things (before Arcane of course) so I recommend listening to all of kda first, I also recommend the true damage song, the eSport songs, and character songs (my favourite is Varus'), but these league band songs are all based on skins, or skin sets, different skin sets have their own universe and lore. And definitely check out the Arcane songs they're badass in a whole other way and if you're wondering how they manage that kind of animation for music videos for just a game you should check out that whole series because they blow themselves out of the water, honestly running joke is riot (the company behind league of legends) does all media better than game, which is how they started. Their music, animation, storytelling is all so much better than the game. I don't think league is the only game to do it but I think it's the only game to do it this well/successfully, I think overwatch do videos as well but I don't think they're music videos like this? Typically at the start of a new season they release a cinematic (which is around New Years), April/May is the first of two huge Esport events this one being called MSI, a summer event and typically the biggest event or events are saved for the fall and this one is called Worlds. During Worlds Riot Games typically release hype songs and other content to get everyone ready for the games. They typically have hype songs like K/DA Pop/Stars or True Damage - Giants, then there’s the yearly Worlds anthem which is like the main theme song of Worlds within a given year. League has a bunch of songs that range in to all sorts of genres like you already know KPop, but they also have rap, metal and so much more! Def should check more of League!!!

League of Legends makes a lot of money by selling players different skins for their "Champions". They create music videos, lore, cinematics, and more to get players interested enough to buy the latest skins of the season. It's worked remarkably well for them but in turn they put out really stellar quality content! Plus they also put out a song to hype up their Worlds every year and the opening ceremonies for the tournament have all that years songs performed live, usually with some really cool effects.

Riot Games is the only really impressive game company in terms of the music they release. They have some other games as well such as Valorant which they released some songs for (highly recommend Valorant - Die for you , absolutely epic vibes) and Legends of Runeterra (a card game, check out Legends of Runeterra - Breathe for an epic/emotioal song). Also, you might want to check out some of the other Riot Games songs they released other then the K/DA stuff, I'm sure you'll be very surprised on how wide the range of things they release is (Check out Enemy - Imagine Dragons ft. JID, Rise - RISE (ft. The Glitch Mob, Mako, and The Word Alive) and Legends Never Die (ft. Against The Current), theres a lot more but I personally think you should dive into these other parts other than K/DA if you want the full Riot Games music experience ;) ). Final Fantasy XIV releases all their main game and expansions. They even have music videos and live concerts. One of the bands that performs for FF XIV is The Primals (named after creatures in the game) are my fav, and their song A Long Fall is excellent, you get two of the band members and someone dressed up as one of the NPC's in the game performing all the dance moves you can do in Final Fantasy XIV. You should definatly check it out.

Bro, you've had the exact reaction I did to KDA! I have a background in Hip Hop and RnB and the only K-Pop I had knowledge of is Stay Kids! This video (yours) is 2 years old by now so I don't know if it's been explained yet but from what I know it's like this: Imaging each character as "actors", they have an in-game persona (the Legends from League i.e. Ahri the nine tail fox, Akali the rapper, Evelynn the succubus and Kai'Sa the dancer). Now imagine the same characters in real life (even though they're 3d generated) as the "actors" who came together and formed a group, that's what K/DA is. There's online comic strips of each member that lead up to the ALL OUT E.P. and subsequent in-game skins for each character, you should check them out to get a better understanding. I've also never played LoL but I'm a 3d digital artist so have a great passion for game character design, when I came across this my mind was blown!

As far as I know, only another game developer moonton created a group called S.T.U.N., the song is Together, which is kinda decent. Moonton has a game for mobile phone called MLBB which is similar to League of legends.
If you liked KDA and Pentakill, then you would be blown away by Riot World championship OST and Original Sound tracks like 'Pheonix', 'Legends Never Die', 'Warrior', 'RISE', 'Awaken', those will blow your mind, very inspirational songs too(yes hype inducing songs :) ). Plus Arcane Sound tracks are great too.

Everytime you say "I can't believe this was made for a game." You...haven't seen any games for the past 10 years? Cineatic masterpieces have been done better in games then hollywood for years. Final Fantasy, EVERY SOULS GAME. Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry, and Doom have done music (in different ways) to such a level it's basically paying for an album while getting a game for free. VALORANT doesn't really have anything K-pop related, rather it's all purely animated with grander visuals. Die For You is a great place to start with VALORANT music reactions.
i usually like instrumental OST (with or without made-up languages) for video games so it does not distract me from gaming. My favorites are the Monster Hunter OSTs and FF7 Crisis Core. Now, if you like videogame/tv/movie inspired music, I recommend Aviators, Peyton Parrish and Miracle of Sound for a few. I also like Karliene's Blood Countess although that is more history inspired.

league has probably highest quality videos.and they are either for skinline ingame like K/DA or world championships like "Rise".there is is other games that makes similar stuff but might be not on same level of quality because riot just trows millions of dollars into this..but my favorite would be "Honkai Impact 3rd" they make ingame cinematic that tells great story with AMAZING music in them (they have inhouse animation and music studios.content is copyright free).if you want you can check out "Will of the Herrscher" , "Final lesson" , "Selee", "Cyberangel" , "Shattered Samsara" , "Lament of fallen" (in that order)..or they have a fullblown concert featuring these songs and more
K.D.A is a band made FOR LoL. Their band members are pretty big themselves but havn't worked together beforde K.D.A was formed... Well exept from the girls from Idol that is. The band characters are Evelyn, Akhali, Ahri and Kai'Sa with a guest star (the girl with the green hair) Seraphine. Theese music videos are a very effective way for Riot Games to sell skins for the fans.
I think LOL is the only one who created a virtual music group but you have other games that have high quality cutscenes with beautiful musics and the intrumentals is more watched then the cutscenes. Thinking about FFXIV for example, especially the 2 last one(Shadowbringers, Endwalker) musics which are medley of OSTs ingame.
You really should check the live performance at LOL championship... I don't play LOL, dont' like, but this ist REALLY nice to see, specially in their anual shows!!
So like Chad said, there are 3 "music groups" made up of champions from LoL to promote skins they added to the game. The music is fire, the skins look fantastic. True Damage, lore wise was created as a side project by Akali following the success of K/DA. K/DA is K-Pop, True Damage is hip hop, and Pentakill is metal. But all the same, I love the content Riot has put out on the side. They more recently made a music video for the new Star Guardian skins with Porter Robinson, you should definitely go check that one out. The song is called Everything goes on
KD/A = Kill Death / Assist a game term from LOL (League of Legends) the internet loves acronyms :) "Riot Games" is the company that owns LOL - "Riot Games Music" is the company that produces the music for Riot Games, in game, as well as MV's and any other outlet for music the "KD/A" group is formed basically in an "As Needed" format they have songs that don't even include some of the same people not all of their music includes K-pop artists like (G) Idle or Twice, and they often change up the line up based on what they need for example the song "Giants" has a couple of male members because Riot was pushing some male skins in the game
To be fair, LOL is a game with large amount of characters, reallt popular, and story.. You should hear what sings are fans doing for Five Nights at Freddy's. FAN MADE songs for some simple games with lore.. I recommend you listen some FNAF songs. Especially the older ones

Imho, you have to be very mentally prepared to play League (or just don't play it xD). Other than that, everything Riot creates (musics, trailers, cinematics, game lores, stories, opening ceremonies, other Riot's games, etc) are just phenomenal.
Kda is made up of real artists from G Idle a very good and creative Kpop girl group. From solo artists like Maddison Beer and Jaira Burns. From G idle its the lead singer and lead rapper Soyeon and another very good singer and dancer Mi-yeon. League has a whole department dedicated to music and its videos. That is why it is high quality. There are few more Kda songs left but many League songs left from many genres that are as amazing. Some can cause copyright issues since League only has partial controls on team ups so just becareful, but this company has free copyright music that can be used from a playlist for streams or videos. The other highest quality animation that equals Kda in different style is a show that cameout recently this year but has music within it is Arcane. Kda and Arcane have similar artists too who worked on both.
