This song is meant to be played loud with the windows rolled down while cruising down the highway on a road trip while everyone sings along as loud as they can. Love it!❤

Steve Perry has done lots of background vocals, with many other artists. However, this is the only time he's done a duet!! And it ROCKS!!!!

Glad to hear you doing more Steve Perry! Check out his songs “Strung Out” and “She’s Mine.” Kenny Loggins started out as one half of Loggins and Messina, and rides the borders of folk, rock and pop.

Always loved this song and have it on my phones playlist. Steve and Kenny work well together both legend'. Kenny is more of a rock/pop mix kind of artist.

This is such a great song and they sound so good together. It was a Top 20 hit, yet you never hear it on the radio. Fun Fact: That whip crack you hear before the guitar solo was a soundbite taken from the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" movie when Indiana Jones cracked his whip. Also, you may remember Kenny Loggins sang his solo on "We Are The World" just before Steve Perry sang his. I think Lionel Richie did that intentionally because of this song. They also stood beside each other in the choir shots of the video. Lastly, this song was nominated for a Grammy, but lost to "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor.

Dennis Conway was the drummer, and the guitar solo was by Neil Geraldo, Pat Benatar's musical partner. I've heard cover bands play this live at Daytona Bike Week, and it's always a crowd rouser.

Sooo good, and they harmonize well. Journey played the song Don't Fight It (Live at Nippon Budokan, 3/2/1983) and Steve rocked it so much, how easy everything was Steve forever the greatest

The snap of the whip is from the whip in Indiana Jones movie. Where they recorded this song had the recording of movies or sounds. The producer went and got the recording and then they put it back after they were done. Kenny Loggins is not country he came out recording in the 70’s. First group was Loggins and Mesina

Try Move On by Kenny Loggins and his earlier partner Jim Messina. Loggins and Messina was awesome. Move On is AMAZING sax and guitar.

Asia & BJ Kenny Loggin sang Rock often Times He Was Backgroung Vocalist for Steve Winwood, Christoppher Cross and Many Many Others. The More Known Duet Was With the Doobie Brothers Michael McDonald. Kenny Loggins Also had A Great Solo Career as Well. Love Kenny

This song did well on the charts. I think they sounded great together, but Steve was by far the better singer (Kenny agreed and was in awe of Steve's vocal talent). There is a gorgeous song by America where Steve sang backup (Can't Fall Asleep to a Lullabye). Kenny was the king of the soundtrack.
