When Little Mix decided to leave Sysco Records Simon Cowell leaked half of their LM5 album. Simon Cowell also refused Little Mix the rights to their Joan of Arc music video.

The name Little Mix was actually their second. When they were first put together on the X Factor, they were called Rhythmix, but when they went to trademark the name, they found out that there was a children’s music charity already using that name, so they decided to change it to Little Mix.

I've been a fan of them since their X factor auditions, they've become big since, for me it's their harmonies and vocals that kill it ... I've had to reply to quite a few new reactors about why they have not heard of Little Mix ! Only know this, they did not do very much promoting in the USA ( especially touring) within the decade they've been around. Last time here was opening act for Ariana Grande in 2017! That is why they are the MOST famous in the UK plus other countries WORLDWIDE ! If you did a little research on them you might have known they were formed in 2011 from X Factor UK and were the 1st BAND to ever WIN ! 🙂 They originally pick their band name - Rythmix but had to change it due to that name belong to some charity organization. I would suggest other Stuff to check them out such as An Intro to Little mix OR anything of them singing A capella! They can definitely dance but their best quality is their vocals! ALL of them can sing..... nobody has ever been the lead singer of their group that is why their harmonizing is the BEST in the Biz and have lasted for the decade! New subbie here. I adore LM they’ve been together for 9yrs. Their name was originally The Rhythmix when they were 1st put together on X-factor UK. But it was discovered that there was already a music group with that name. So, they had to change it and hence the birth of Little Mix. Please check out their song Holiday. I’ve recently discovered this group by accident a few days ago on RU-vid. They’ve barely received any promotion here in the US throughout the years, because their record label pretty much screwed them over. I’m glad that I know who they are now.

They were formed on the UK's X Factor back in 2011, they all auditioned as solo artists but kelly Rowland put them together and they won. Sadly they haven't broken through to the US so that's why you haven't seen them!!

Little mix may be becoming 10 years old but they are still keeling up with the times like anything. Been my favs since I was 7 or 8

Little Mix is currently the largest girl group in the world. They were formed in XFactor UK and are the only group that has managed to beat XFactor in the world. They will release their sixth album on November 6. They are really very talented, beat several records of Spices Girls and currently even have a talent show on the BBC. However, they have always been greatly devalued by Simon's previous label, Syco. Currently they have changed records and continue beating the records, which are several kkk

I love that you were actually paying attention to the lyrics! I would recommend Power, Strip, and Woman Like Me. They have a lot of music and plenty of a cappella performances too! If you would like to hear them singing songs you may know, they have covered Falling by Harry Styles, Love On the Brain by Rihanna, and Dance With Somebody/ Want to Want Me.

Little Mix was formed on X Factor Uk in 2011. They auditioned solo but were put into 2 groups initially by the judges. Leigh-anne and jade were in one and perrie and jesy in another. Both groups failed to make it but the judges decided give them one more chanve to take them from their groups and form Rhythmix. Mid way through the competition they realised there was a charity called Rhythmix and to avoid legal issues they changed the name the Little Mix. They then won X factor and became the first ever group to do so.

Their labels are so annoying they don't give a proper promotion specially in USA they been sleep on them but still the girls smashed it year after years they deserve more and more ❤️

They are hosting the EMAs so hopefully that will give them more exposure

Mixing is a music/audio terminology for blending instruments together so their name Little Mix is a play on that. Like how Pentatonix is a play on the word pentatonic (a 5-note scale).

Love that you loved them - we proud AF in the UK! The DL is that successive labels have screwed them over because they have been outspoken about what they don’t want to do, and then had US promo slashed. Hopefully that can change now because there is a massive Fifth Harmony shaped hole in US (who I also loved but LMX blow out of water) and they’re on a decent label finally.

They were contestants on the UK X Factor several years ago. They were individuals but put together as a group. The name they were given was Rythmix, this was changed later in the show to Little Mix. They then won the show, first girl band ever to do so! Please look at more of thier songs, harmonies are to die for 😁
