First time hearing LOVEBITES The Hammer Of Wrath (REACTION)  

There's your channel again. A few months ago I searched for it - nothing - everything gone - no more Buckeye Creeker channel on RU-vid. What was going on? Good that you've returned to Lovebites. As you can see in this video, Lovebites now have a new bass player and many new videos and live videos have been released on the Lovebites channel. In 2024 the women are also coming to the USA and Europe. LB History : Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in 2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany 2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England 2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium 2019 - Download Festival in Spain. In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and it is very rare that in these times a rock band comes so far forward. Yes, Asami does has a heavy accent in her vocal because English is not her natural tongue. But her range and technicality is second to none.

Incredible power coupled with high speed. All of them have so much to do, nonstop. Its understandable that some people can't handles this style of music. Its brutal, yet clean unlike death metal. What a collection of talent. Anyone who can't at least respect the talent here isn't worthy of listening to music at all.

My favorite 3 songs: Shadowmaker MV Thunder Vengeance live 2020 Last but not least, my favorite song of all time, by any band ever Soldier Stands Solitarily. There is no official live or MV. There's an audio version and fan-downloaded of their livestream listening to their Judgement Day LP when released back in Feb. SSS is the last track of the album and composed by The Golden Touch herself, Miyako (guitarist / pianist). The contradiction of what they're wearing / look like vs the warp-speed song is a MUST see experience. Look forward to the next one! 🤘

I'm always impressed with Asami san in this video. Singing? No. Stage craft? No. The way she is encouraging and inspiring confidence in the new, young, bassist on her debut with the band. Asami 'had a feeling' about Fami. It was meant to be.

"WE ARE BAAAAACK !!!" (Asami) This was the first song of LOVEBITES' first performance with an audience after a hiatus of almost 2 years due to Covid-19 and the departure of their founding bassist Miho (for personal reasons), and it was the first one using the lineup with new bassist Fami, who hadn't played for such a big audience before. They were all happy to be on stage again and had unbelievable new energy and enthusiasm that connected with the audience. Both performances in March 2023 resulted in live albums "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate" and "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate - Part II", released in August and December 2023. After the Japan tour in September 2023, we'll now have their world tour in 2024...

Yes. She sings allways in English. But as not her first language and thick accent. And very few speak English in Japan . It is sometimes hard to hear. Check up the lyrics. In some songs its easier to hear and sometimes more difficult. But she allways sings in english. And its allways very good lyrics in fact. Very uplifting content. A tip may be if you Google it before next reaction. So you can have it on a different window at the same time or write it out. Or directly look at it after the music video.
