@@sebastiannavarro2179 I don’t think so. Madonna has more album sales because she was in the industry almost a decade before Mariah. Mariah has 19 #1 , she (barbra steinstrand the same) has the most certified album sales on USA more than any female artist. Also she has the Song of the decade 2 decades in a row. Not to mention the artist on the decade AND the artist of THE MILLENIUM.

Actually, “Without You” was originally done by a band called Badfinger. They were the originals, Harry Nilsson’s version is also a cover.

Mariah Carey is one of our national treasures. Amazing vocalist with a 5 octave range. She was untouchable in her prime during the 90s. The most #1 singles for any solo artist in history. Not only is she an immaculate vocalist, she also WRITES her own music. A once in a lifetime talent.

First time listening to Mariah Carey singing this song without you. She could sing the high notes that would blast the top out of a church steeple. Comprable to Minnie Riperton Rudolph also known as the mother to Maya Rudolph from Saturday Night Live. Minnie Riperton wrote a love song for her daughter just before she passed away.'LOVIN' YOU'...MAYA,MAYA,MAYA... mini Rudolph was another one that could sing the very high high high high notes.
