(Long comment) Melanie always has such unique visuals, especially in her new PORTALS era. Y’all actually are sooo close to the vibe she has, one of the first songs she made, “Mad Hatter,” is about her accepting her inner crazy. She is known for the dark song subjects she taps into, her unique sounds, and airy voice! She has 3 albums and 2 extended plays. Dollhouse is the debut extended play (EP) by American singer-songwriter Melanie Martinez, released on May 19, 2014, by Atlantic Records and Warner/Chappell.[1] The EP was primarily produced and co-written by hip hop duo Kinetics & One Love.[2] Dollhouse peaked at number four on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. The lyrics imply a confidence in one's own body and a refusal to be objectified or reduced to a mere sexual object for someone else's pleasure. The lyrics also suggest that the singer is aware of their worth and is not willing to settle for anything less than they deserve, despite the distractions and games played by others. It may also be a dedication to women who feel like they are sexualized because the have what society sees as a "perfect body" having an hourglass body figure with big breasts and a thin waist. The chorus, in particular, emphasizes one's self-worth and their refusal to be objectified solely for sexual gratification. The line "But I'm more than that, more than that" is repeated multiple times, so is the phrase "you hold me like you're rushing to my thighs, too fast to fast fast too fast", reinforcing the idea that the protagonist is not comfortable with such behavior towards them and will not allow themselves to be just an object for someone else's pleasure. Based on the music video, the lyrical theme is not the same as to its visual theme. The visual theme is simply similar to "Show & Tell", but rather her fans seeing her life as a video game. To shortly explain how the character called “The creature” came to be it started with her first debut album “Crybaby” where she created a character called “Crybaby” who went through a traumatic livelihood(it’s partially inspired by/taken from her real life experiences where people would make fun of her teeth gap when she was younger IRL and she’d cry a lot) anyway then it goes to her second album “K-12” the character Crybaby goes through a k-12 boarding school and it’s actually a movie she has here on RU-vid you can watch it anyway… The character Crybaby goes to this school finds out it’s corrupt by a “evil” principle so she ends up killing the principle and freeing the students only for the principles son to take his fathers position and keep the school corrupt until crybaby and her friends come up with a plan which works and they get rid of the principles son free all of the students and vanish the school from reality once and for all then Crybaby somehow dies(Nobody knows how it’s only speculation) and because the character is somewhat of an “Empath” she’s reborn as an Alien Fariee stuck between life and death which in the beginning of her tour the character makes a statement revealing that Crybaby may be stuck in half the form of an angel and she’s not fully an angel yet… and so she’s here on what I believe to be “Venus” (suggested by her song Fariee Soriee) and that’s where the story is at right now and that’s how this “Creepy monster” came abou

You need to watch death! It’s a great start with her new album and to kill your curiosity her face is featured in the music video alongside with void.

I would suggest watching some of her crybaby and k-12 content before continuing with portals!
