Mike Jones had one of the best marketing ploys I have ever seen! I don't anyone who comes close before or after him. From wearing the "WHO IS MIKE JONES?" T-shirts before his album and being known in a large scale outside of Houston, to shouting his telephone number every chance he got and making it an active # you could call. His personal call & answer slogan..." who? Mike Jones! Who?" Genius. I like the way he was rapping too. Repeating certain lines over and over. It's like he took psychology and knew how to make things stick and resonate with ppl. He should open a marketing firm lol

I was in 6th grade . Kids used to call the phone number he drops in this song and he would pick up . No lie . Had to try many times though due to the line being tied up from so many calls. 😁

I personally think he only had a handful of tracks worth listening to but those handful are legendary and some of my favourite southern hip-hop tracks ever. Five Years From Now I think is my favourite next to Still Tippin'. It's not a party, fun track. It's a deep, soulful track and I love it so much. Stays with you in a way. Do it King!

Yo, this song back in the day after release was a mainstay on car stereos and at the house parties. Very basic standard composition for that time really, however the clever mix/master production made this an instant classic. I still bump this regularly in a Playlist.

I’m a Patriots fan, Mac Jones is our QB now, obviously, but his real first name is Michael. Given his age, I’d love to know for sure if he goes by Mac instead of Mike just because he wouldn’t be able to go a day in his life after first grade without everyone always yelling out to him “WHO???
