Aw, glad you liked this. I agree it's a lovely message, definitely a feel-good song with a sense that yeah, we're in this together. And it's OK to be ourselves, OK to be different to the mainstream, exactly as you say. The lady who's voice sounds like an angel (I agree) is also the drummer. She is beautiful with a beautiful voice. I haven't a clue what category to slot this song into, and that's great, because this in itself is different, doing their own thing, which fits with the message 😊
What a great song, its really uplifting. I really liked the lyrics and sound, the background music with that woman's voice is really nice. They all have such unique voices. One of their voices, well I'm not sure if its the first or second guy or maybe a combination of both, reminds me of Johnny Cash - gives me vibes of Johnny Cash's Hurt- a brilliant song if you've never heard it. Actually I think a slightly slowed down acoustic version of this song would sound great (which was Johnny Cash's style). Overall it kind off gives me vibes of music that could be on something like Lord of the Rings/the Hobbit or The Witcher. Very atmospheric. 😁
@@twittystreams haha 😄 you just reminded me Hurt isn't his song but a cover of Nine Inch Nails - I like the original too but I think he made it so much his own, so emotional, also I might have heard his first. To be honest I don't know too many of his songs either, probably know the sound of them more than I can name them. 🙂
All hail Nin Hagen the mother bat it's metal industrial metal just this track is softer nut Mono Inc is industrial metal same as Rammstein another goth metal band as all industrial is. Yeah, we are basically a separate society basically we run on our own pseudo-government through organizations and starting charities even just based around certain musicians. Do you mean like the 2000s fake goths who never even seen the 80s and early 90s look at my start of Millenials and tail end GenX, that did not go well oh my god how is Tripp even in business anymore I never see anyone ever wear them anymore now most just dress traditional goth now?
From left to right: Chris Harms - LOTL like you said; Joachim Witt ( 73 years old); Martin Engler - Lead singer and ex drummer for Mono Inc and Tilo Wolff from Lacrimosa. The female backup singer is current drummer Katha Mia.
I feel a need to tell. It is a MeraLuna Fest's (the most famous goth fest) hymn. And it is remarkble, that the four singers are the most popular (I am sure with Joachim Witt and Tilo Wolff - Lacrimosa), goth musicians in there time (from 80-th, 90-th, 00-th) - and they are still main headliners. The live-video frames - are from Mera too )
