First let me comment that reactions to Ms. Morissette Amon WILL only increase your subscribers exponentially!!! Of that you can be certain..react to others of hers and you'll see!! She is beyond incredible and you haven't heard anything yet!! This was beautiful but you'll hear her range, feel her emotions, be mesmerized by her story-telling in EVERY song she does (and there are hundreds of covers she does)!! You will NOT be disappointed!! She can do any genre (although I have yet to hear her do opera). She is truly one of, if not THE best vocalist of this generation and I look forward to watching you react to Fly Like A Bird, Defying Gravity, Home, Someone Like You, Akin Ka Na Lang, Memory, Rise Up (with 3rd Avenue. It's an acapella version of Rise Up that is OUTSTANDING!!), to name a few. I'm not afraid to say that if you weren't nuts about a song before, if Morissette covers it, you're going to hear it for the "first" time and love it from then on!! Please give these a listen and reaction. You have just begun to be WOW'ED!!!! She's humble. She's beautiful inside and out. She adores her fans as they do her!!

Morissette is from the Philippines. The language she used here is a language spoken mainly from Visayan Islands. To be geographically precise, visaya, is mainly spoken in the island of Cebu and a few neighboring islands. The song she sang here is a folksong of visayan people. Yes, she is a wonderful singer indeed, and your reaction is wonderful as well. Thanks.

I first heard Morissette sing while on holidays in Thailand 2 years ago. I could not believe this tiny delicate young girl could sing with such emotion and power. I researched more about her and it wasn’t long before I was obsessed with her music . She can literally sing anything and make it sound so good. I have no doubt she will be recognised as one of the greatest vocalist of all time by the end of her career. She is one of the most talented, world class young FILIPINO singer. The second song she sang is Usahay a classic visayan song which means '"sometimes". By the way the Visayan or Cebuano dialect is one of the major dialects spoken in the Philippines, English is our second or. Considered official language in the Philippines. Kudos to the producer or people behind the Mashup of these two songs:Moon River and Usahay,.

Mori signed a contract with Capitol Records in 2019. Does anyone know when her album is scheduled to come out (no speculation please)? Rhett Lawrence, Mariah Carey's former producer, "discovered" her on the WISH 107.5 bus singing a duet with Arnel Pineda (Journey), researched her, visited her concerts in the Philippines, and facilitated her visit to Los Angeles. In his interview on the WISH 107.5 bus, he said that Mori had "unlimited ability". I hope her album will launch her into the superstardom that she richly deserves.

She never ever did sign with capital records, she was shown around the setup, that's it, she was never going to put herself in a position of being an industry puppet or just an image, she is a woman of very strong character who is very much in charge of what and who she wants too be, not what these music mogals want her too be, she is absolutely nothing like Ariana Grande, that is an insult to Morissette in itself, she can only DREAM of having 10% of the talent of Morissette possesses 🇬🇧🔥👌💓.

Since Mori has never signed with a major music company. she will/may never reach the international status and worldwide popularity that she richly deserves (like So Hyang). I have been following Morissette's work for over a year, and yours since you became interested in Dimash. I try to watch all the videos. Morissette has many great songs - both cover versions (Rice Up, Never Enugh, Stone Cold ...) and original (Akin Ka Na Lang). You will get tremendous pleasure from each of them.

Most people start Morissette with he "Rise Up", followed by "Akin Ka Na Lang" - both from the Wish Bus 107.5. The original of this song was sung by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffanys. Also see Morissette's cover of Maria Carey's "Fly Like A Bird", and "Defying Gravity" from Wicked.

Morissette is a combination of all great Divas...but what's more amazing that sets her apart is... she can sing and nails any genre from Pop...RNB...Ballad...Jazz...broadway Tunes etc... I have only watched a few videos of Morissette Amon and enjoyed them. I love how she can smile all the time while singing giving a very positive vibe and spirit to her music. Terrific that she along with Angelina Jordan are bringing back the jazz standards. Schnell well done with promoting your beautiful voice at the beginning of this reaction video. I am sure the Morissette fans will increase your subscribers. Quirky side note, a friend called me saying Blue Oyster Cult released a new album for the first time in nearly 20 years. True! You do have to experience Morissette's performance live. I have gone to 3 of her concerts (so far!) and I am always in awe of what she can do as a singer and a performer! She is the total performer: she can sing and dance, do rap and play the piano and guitar as well. Check out and react if you please to her performance of And I am Telling You cover at her concert in Cebu, Philippines where she grew up. She also tackles songs by Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Demi Lovato, Carrie Underwood (yes, the country singer) and also musical theater songs. But of course she also has her own original songs sung both in English and Tagalog (the Filipino language). You can actually find her songbook/playlist quite extensive when you do a Search here on RU-vid. She also has a RU-vid channel where she has uploaded her MVs and other stuff too.

Definitely does not sound like Ariana Grande, I don't wish to sound rude, but Ariana is not in the same league as this girl, I don't know where you have been for the last three or four yrs, but you have missed out on so much, she covers every genre with absolutely insane vocals, and her stage presentation is second to none, she is the next big thing for yrs to come, just check out her live performances.

Was surprised that you had never heard of her...during the past 5 years or so, a plethora of Philippine singers have become so prominent on the scene and talent shows. She is among the best (but 1st time I'm hearing this song from her)...btw, she's already gone places! Good choice... google them in general. I previously recommended an American-born filipina prodigy, Angelica Hale, check her out. Also, "Moon River" is an all-time classic, first recorded by Andy Williams (50-60's)

Until this video I had never heard of her either. There are plenty of people that don't specifically watch talent shows or TV at all so to never having heard of her is not uncommon even if she was from America. Now a comment on her voice, it is pure and very good. I prefer Andy Williams version still over hers.

@@MrBeaker1158 this cover she really left most of range out of these songs. She is a belter with incredible whistle control and this song mostly showcased her head voice and mix. I tend to watch her and the people she covers and it comes down to the sound of the voice, even the speaking voice. The technical vocal acrobatics while I appreciate isn't what made me a fan it's the entire package including just the natural tone of the voice and that element is entirely subjective.

You mentioned Kirsten and Rise up 2020 is very pentatonix like and in it you will see where My Mori can actually go vocally and emotionally. Enjoy.

dont call her that. shes nothing at all like a diva. shes a very lovely and humble vocalist. its usually often her fanatical fans who are very arrogant and boastful and end up ruining her great image, because it does not represent her properly at all. she would never brag about how good she is. you people are misrepresenting her.

You never reacted to her? Lol I've been watching your content for a while and I didn't notice my favorite vocalist flew past your radar! Her range is slightly insane bb2-d8. Her belts are insane, her mixed voice also insane and the whistles...you need to discover those yourself! You should make a poll for Morissette songs (and for Dimash) because there is too much content for her. The performances she did for the Radio stations 107.5 which also happens to be a Bus on the street with real people admiring outside. It reminds me of those MTV total request live shows in Time Square. Wish 107.5 "Rise Up", "Never Enough", "Akin ka Na lang". You should really watch those before seeing any none professional camera phone stuff, which i have to admit is also worth watching. Another reason to watch the Wish bus is to see a glimpse of some other crazy vocalists from the Philippines. Those "once in a generation voices" are no longer "once in a generation", i suspect some sort of dark magic might be the reason.

Morissette is 24 years old from Cebu, Philippines. She has musical theater background hence the clear high belt. Her nickname is Asia’s Phoenix because she kills every song she sings. If I may say so, Morissette is referred to as "Asia's Phoenix" not because of her diaphragm wrenching & throat ripping vocal prowess. Her association to the word phoenix stems from the fact that at one time she was defeated in a professionally decisive singing contest. From that low point, she rose from the ashes of failure and proved to one and all that she is more than the sum total of the result of that fateful contest. Phoenix is a mythological figure in ancient Greek folklore. It is a majestic and mystical bird that cyclically regenerates from death to rebirth. Just as it is with Morissette's failure and eventual redemption as she wins the hearts and admiration of cynics that relegated her to failure.

She just came out with this a few days ago. You have embarked on a total phenom. She is the whole package. She is a genre killer. She can sing anything. She truly swallowed every diva Mariah, Whitney Beyoncé Christina etc. Please check out some of her other performances on the Wish Bus like Rise Up, Never Enough, and her original Akin Ka Na Lang to start off with. She also did a cover of Fly Like a Bird. Loved the reaction!!

Sadly it's true but if you check out of unmoderated channels on RU-vid there is a war going on in each comment section. Not one war like a 20 way war with friendly fire. You can't change the way people think, if you look at the like to dislike ratio it's predetermined. I seen a 5 min video premiere of a song with a ton of dislikes less than 1 minute after publishing. Active moderation is required to keep the peace.
