Fun fact: she was actually under the weather, when this was recorded, you can clearly hear she has difficulty catching her breath, but she performed anyways. Imagine what she is capable of, when she is in top form. Mori blossoms when she sings live, I love her live performance of Whitney‘s „Run to you“ at a gala in Manila in front of a whole Orchestra and the performance at the Asia music festival 2017 (the „Emotions“-Mash-up)!

Welcome to the real world! This is just the beginning of the world of Filipino singers, of which Morissette is one of the prime examples. To complete her „big three“, listen to „Never enough“ and „Akin ka na lang“ (with English subtitles) (for starters, there is of course much more…)! And apart from Mori, there is also Katrina Velarde, Gigi de Lana, Jessica Villarubin as well as BuDaKhel. The best Mori Duett in my opinion is „you are the reason“ with Daryl Ong!

It's not enough to be born with a talent. In Morissette's case she has always worked to be better. She is a talented singer/songwriter/actress and all around great person who brings joy to world. She even organized and produced amazing performances with herself and others working remotely during the quarantine to lift our spirits. She has earned our love and respect many times over. My favorite thing to do in my spare time for fun is find reactors first exposure to Morissette. They are all very much like your reaction and it dont matter which of her songs she sings. That's what we call the Mori effect or being Mori-fied! Happens to all the newbies. She's 26 now and has been performing a long time. For some reason, the music industry hasn't caught on, or maybe that's not the path she wants to take. I would say the trio of songs to start on are this one, Never Enough, and Akin Ka Na Lang, all on Wish Bus. But she has hundreds of exceptional videos in various venues like on stage, at home, in studio, etc. It's mostly covers of every genre but more recently, original material. She is a very passionate, captivating, and expressive performer and we Mowienatics LOVE her for her sweet, charming, bubbly personality!

At first you think she is this cool toned raspy singer and then she EXPLODES into this mix of Whitney, Christina and Mariah! STUNNED is the right word !!! There is one more international female that you need to check out. Her name is Sohyang from South Korea. Her and Morrissette are two of the top female vocalists in the world currently. Knowing how much you like the gospel side of things there a couple of performances that I would recommend you start off with. Her renditions of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' and 'You raise Me Up' are legendary. But, the rabbit hole runs even deeper.
