I haven't heard that song. I'd love to do a live reaction! Thanks for the great comment, watch out for this video in the next couple weeks. Welcome to the Big Beat Family!!
Man, I'm an HARDCORE Old School Muse fan, most of my online handles are Muse related and this song is a return of the good old Muse... Fantastic song! I will recommend you to react to my #1 Muse song, it's one that gets overlooked by most fans but it's a masterpiece, starting with the name: "Darkshines" I also would urge you to react to 2 songs that display the genius of Matt Bellamy, "Hyper Music" and "Hyper-Chondriac Music" The first is part of the 2nd album from Muse and the other one is a B-Side and both songs use the same exact lyrics but are polar opposites of emotion, one is pure rage and aggression, the other is depression, with the same exact lyrics! GENIUS!!! Subscribed for more Muse reactions and also Placebo!!
You missed the actual meaning of the lyrics, which are NOT about the problems in a male/female relationship. The creepy (almost dead) guy in the wheel chair represents the world-wide system of top-down control by a few old men over the mindless masses, yet conversely the lyrics are about an individual's determination to NOT surrender, NOT comply, refusing to 'stand down'. Standing down would mean complying to the control system - as with those under manipulation. So the person refusing to 'stand down' is actually outside, as it were - watching the visuals.
