As a classic panic fan I also love the entirety of pretty. Odd. For his growth from the typical emo stuff but I don’t know if that would be worth recommending haha
You should check out his live stuff, he's INCREDIBLE. Also you need to see the Trilogy. 1. Say Amen (Saturday Night) 2. This Is Gospel 3. Emperor's New Clothes. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any Panic! song you pick.
If you want to see more of Brendon's vocals, watch a compilation of his best live vocals or their live cover of Bohemian Rhapsody. Absolutely god-tier vocalist, one of the most talented that's ever lived imo.
You should check out his live acoustic performance of "Miss Jackson" that he did @ 102.9 "the buzz". It's on RU-vid, and is legitimately one of the most impressive vocal performances I've seen an artist do live, especially more modern artists. Love your content. First found you reacting to Falling in Reverse, and have been subscribed and watching since then. Keep up the good work, and good vibes!
I always loved the line he uses to describe getting married "a lifetime of laughter at the expense of the death of a bachelor" like its a trade he's thrilled to make
What a pleasant surprise seeing you react to Panic. Brandon Urie has the best singing voice in modern days in my opinion. Always great to see you my friend 🤙P.S. Frank is the GOAT ❤
You've done Lil Dicky... and now Brendon Urie from Panic At The Disco.... Now you have to do them BOTH TOGETHER in Lil Dicky's music video called "Molly"
You should definitely react to more Panic!. They have a variety of styles. Also yeah this was the album released after Brendon Urie got married. He ended off the previous album with the wedding vows to his wife.
I love this song so much! I would check out I Write Sins, Not Tragedies; Nine in the Afternoon; and honestly, he absolutely KILLS the main song from Frozen 2. Also his cover of Bohemian Rhapsody is amazing. Brenden Urie is a GOAT.
If you want to see more of his crazy vocal range, you should check out his (their) live performance of "The End Of All Things" in Cleveland, OH. It's incredible! More Brendon pls, he is one of the great singers of our time! Much love from Germany!
If you are digging this , maybe listen to Panic! At The Disco: I Write Sins Not Tragedies, its the song that everyone knows and its kind of their most well know song. just saying.
Welcome all the PATD stans to the channel! Haha for real though, so glad you're reacting to Brendon and Panic (which is basically just Brendon at this point). If you want to really see his vocals shine, listen to This is Gospel Acoustic (or Live), or Dying in LA live. But you really can't go wrong with anything he's on :)
Oooh man. Absolutely great reaction. Brendon’s absolute favorite singer is Sinatra and he also loves Beyoncé. He was wanting to write a crooning song but was not fully feeling it. He had this beat that he had made and tried putting them together and it worked and turned into this. Brendon is amazing and is one of, if not the best, vocalists and musicians out today. He does it all. He plays guitar, bass, drums, and piano. For the last two Panic! albums he wrote almost all of those parts. Some songs the lyrics he writes fully himself and some he has co-writers. All the instrumentals for horns and strings on Panic! songs for 5 of the 6 Panic! albums are written by Rob Mathes who has composed and produced for Sting, Ray Charles, Bruce Springsteen and many many others. Be prepared to fall in love with Panic!s music. When I get off work I’m going to post a ton of information about Panic! songs you would be interested in based on what you said you like. I’ll also post a bunch of his videos you’d love, even if you don’t react to them you’ll definitely want to watch them for your own enjoyment.
Saw Panic or Brendan ( since he the only one in the band now) but he was opening and lemme just say this is one man who is a SANGER! I immediately knew he made the right career choice this man has talent. Not just vocally either production is him as well I think 😊
The hip hop you're feeling is probably the snare :) Brendon Urie is a great vocalist. Try listening to Emperor's New Clothes, and this is Gospel, and his live performance of Bohemian Rhapsody!
This is one of my absolute favorite Panic! At the Disco songs. This whole album is phenomenal. If you haven’t you should listen to the whole thing. Brendan Urie’s voice is amazing
Good breakdown. I think that’s kinda the issue people find, subconsciously, with PATD. Their sound,a lot of times,is a mind fuck. High hats,808s,but then you have a 1950s crooner sound from Urie with a classic horn section in the background. Lol it’s amazing, but definitely a diversion from the cookie cutter music that is put out these days. As for Urie,he’s top 5 in the world and has been for some time. He’s also not 5. His use of vocal slides and delayed vibrato shows he knows all the intricacies that make vocals an art form
At first when i saw this channel I wasn’t sure how I felt about how calm you were but now i like it, cuz it’s different. Your definitely gonna be hitting the big leagues of the reactors in no time
House of memories and greatest showman have those sinatra vibes. He also does a live cover of a couple sinatra songs. Definitely something to check out.
Say Amen!, This is Gospel, Emperor’s New Clothes all music videos go together & they’re AMAZING react PLZ…Panic at the Disco was group name, Brendan Urie is lead singer who also does his own stuff below our some other 🔥 songs: - I write sins not tragedies - the ballad of Mona Lisa - High Hopes All the videos he does are very cinematic & his voice I think is the main reason he can SUCCESSFULLY combine multiple genres & he always does it…
im a little surprised you never did more panic! if it's lack of suggestions, a good place to start (other than this) would be in his trilogy, chronologically in terms of storytelling in the videos (NOT the songs themselves): say amen (saturday night), this is gospel, and emperor's new clothes. there's a good variety in those songs which shows off his range. otherwise, idk if you'd at all be interested, but his best live vocals video from popcrush is actually, somehow, really good lol
I've been a fan since the early 2000s and have always loved their over the top almost Broadway sound.. I found out after moving to Las Vegas that they started here, it all made s sense.
I would highly recommend some older stuff too. "Build God, then we'll talk", "Nine in the Afternoon", then some newer stuff like, "This is Gospel", "Crazy = Genius", and "King of the Clouds"
Great choice doing this! Such a good singer. I think you will have many views if you cover Nirvana’s where did you sleep last night unplugged version. Trust me
Brendon’s biggest idol is Frank Sinatra. He looks up to him greatly. He even has a tattoo of Frank on his forearm. This song was like an ode too him. This entire DOAB album is a masterpiece. It was even nominated for a Grammy! Brendon is most definitely up there for the top vocalist of this generation, his vocals live especially are STUNNING. I’ve seen him live twice and each time it’s breathtaking. He’s also so much better live 🖤
This is my first time watching you and as a huge Panic & Brendon fan, I loved watching you go through the emotions. You hit on some very interesting points- he has some significant r&b influences and the theatre comment is on point…he has been on Broadway!
i truly enjoyed your reaction to this song that I have only just heard myself. But yes he's the panic at the disco guy and his style was so diff in the 1990s. I couldn't believe it was the same guy. PS. i loved the way you stopped at points in the video regarding lights etc that i would have never noticed. Thanks again and hope to see more of your reactions!! Good luck xo
