OMFG never apologize for wanting to RE-LISTEN to what you just heard!!! Its Pantera. And it's understandable. This is what you call "face-melting" metal. 🤘💜
I was lucky enough to have seen Pantera 9 times , even catching a guitar pick from Dime that I had to fight and scramble for on the floor ! But by God I got it !!!!!!! This band meant the world to me growing up . They saved my life for real .
have you seen any of the videos about the studies done on metal music and its listeners. Based on your, "saved your life" comment, you might find it interesting. My favorite thing that was learned studying the effects of metal on metal heads, was that its cathartic....it can facilitate a positive release of the frustrations in life.
I was introduced to this band in 1992 when I was 16. This dude who sat behind me in history had his Walkman and Vulgar Display of Power and had me listen to F@cking Hostile and I was hooked. He dubbed me off a copy and I went straight to Starship Records and Tapes and picked up this album. My favorite was Heresy. They also did a GREAT cover of Black Sabbath’s Planet Caravan. RIP Dimebag and Vinnie.
Being a devout Christian ," the sleep" by Pantera isy favorite song by them. The album cowboys from hell got played thousands of nights as I trucked my 3 million miles
Top 5 heaviest guitar riff ever. Pantera - A New Level ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rVL6B4L_cZg.html A new level Of confidence And power
I love seeing people getting into metal music when it's not normal in their wheelhouse of music. So many people when they hear it passing think it's just noise. But when they get a chance to really listen and discover how good the quality of music is and how deep the lyrics generally are. It puts a bug ol fat smile on my face. Keep up the awesome resctions!
I was 19 and new in the Army when I saw these guys for the first time. They are from Arlington, TX. I was stationed at Ft. Sill, OK. Those guys would probably come and play the local Rock club "The Hardroxx" in Lawton, OK. RIP. I wasn't "into metal" when I first saw them, but the video doesn't lie. The shows would go off. Not only were they effing awesome live, but they were just dudes other than that. Anybody who went outside to smoke would end up smoking with Pantera. Gotta check out "Cemetery Gates" next.
this is a great solo. for me it feels so melodic and powerful at the same time. dime was a good guitar player and his style was unique, even his tone was different. cementery gates is considered his best solo. the studio version song has an intro that the official video does not have
That’s called stage diving. I’m a 5’1”, less than 100 lbs. and I would see local shows at this time. If left that show with bruises from people stage diving over my head, I knew I was at a badass show! #acidbath
This was one of my FAVORITE bands as a teen from their very first album. Having said that, now pushing 49, as much as I still love them, sometimes it’s hard to listen to them because I’m still devastated by the loss of Dimebag and his brother Vinnie (guitarist and drummer).😤🥺🖤
Right there with you @Deam! I just turned 46 and I've been loving them since the beginning but it is hard to listen. R I P. To Dimebag and Vinnie forever 🤘💜
Before Pantara got big they played here Shreveport Louisiana every few weeks. Seen them multiple times at the Sandpiper bar on Monkhouse dr. (burned down) ...and down at Circle in the Square bar, (that was)on the River Front.
They play this during Stars games. Gets me so hype!! Another rap/rock mashup please sir. Just Another Victim - Helmet and House of Pain it even has a beat switch which you love.
This is my first video I’m watching of you reacting to music and before you even started the video I subscribe because I can tell I am going to enjoy your reactions. You seem like you are generally interested in all this new music you’ve never experienced. I can’t wait to watch your subscribers numbers grow.
Metallica or Pantera... I don't know if I can say which is my favorite, probably heard Metallica before Pantera but those two bands are just on their own levels, and both are just fuckin amazing, never feel more alive when listening to either, and the louder the better 😂, if it's too loud you're too old haha
As a guitar player, I hate dimebags guitar tone, mid scooped Hollow shit but, his technical ability and creativity is so damn good, sets him apart from others. Great review as usual!
