Soooo underrated. Without question one of the greatest voices in modern music. Notice how artists of this caliber are never celebrated by the mainstream. Wonder why music is where it is.

First heard Rachelle in Berklee College of Music, like 1981, rehearsing for her recital, & she was killin it back then, but she has more than exceeded any expectations from back then, fo sho!

She is the VERY rare singer with a six octave range. For perspective, neither Whitney nor Mariah could touch her range. There might be a handful of known singers with this range. Her first album is worth reacting to. I used to listen to it daily when it was released.

Yea, Whitney and Mariah could sing in only 5 octaves. I just lol as i typed this because i Said ONLY. 5 is a lot as well but yeah its not 6.

I love her omg! Rachelle Ferrell is so underrated I used to get in my car pop one of her Cd 's in ride and chill, her and Will Downing. You should react to him they did a collaboration together call Nothing Has Ever Felt ❤ Both are seriously underrated.

I never heard of this artist, I am Old School. It is a nice jam. Being African American does not mean we heard all of the jams, especially living in a rural white area. Thanks for introducing this lady to me.

One of the best voices on the planet. She is definitely underrated. Her 1992 was an amazing piece of work. I listened to the whole album in one take and was a huge fan of hers ever since. I’ve seen her live twice. Her voice is straight from Heaven! To me it’s just an instrument like a saxophone.

People that don’t know..just don’t understand. She is a beast. A vocal assassin. I saw this in the early 90’s. Live. Waited for the re-run to just show it to my friends. And ran to Tower to get the CD and it didn’t disappoint at all.

I miss show time at the Apollo at 12 midnight sundays. Lol. Always big performer and tomorrow talent from singing to comedy. Unlike America Idol, most stars became stars after getting boo off stage or cheer on😀
