I have seen this RF video countless times and I cry every single time. I suppose I am silly like that and that's ok. It's how much I love this song and video. “My Wish” and “Stand” are two of my ALL TIME favorite songs by Rascal Flatts. They are such amazing and inspirational songs! No tears 😊. I also recommend ANYTHING by Carrie Underwood. Two of my favorite songs she sings are “Fighter” with Keith Urban and “The Champion” featuring Ludacris. 💕

My Wish is so special. I danced with my son at his wedding & Rascal Flatts was his 1st concert I took him to. He was 4. She didn't tell him she was pregnant before he was killed.

this young lady reminds me every time of my 9yr old when we had to tell her about her dad dying in a wreck. she begged me to make him better since i was a nurse. our 12 yr old just turned to stone. it was 10/15/06 at 3:06pm when he died. i’m tired of the grief anger and crying in silence. i hope every day is my last.

Rascal Flatts was my favorite band for a while in college thanks to my fiance getting my rock-addicted brain introduced to country. Some of their songs are really light-hearted too. If you want a good laugh after hearing a bunch of sad country songs, check out their song "Backwards".

Another band hit the scene at the same time as Rascal Flatts... Emerson Drive. Sadly they didn't get the same airtime on the radio and so didn't get the recognition they deserve. Their song "Memories" needs to be listened to, it is amazing.

It's ok. I have seen this video around 100 times and still cry everytime. I love Rascal Flatts. They have a long and wonderful catalog. Great harmonies and the lead singer is one in a million. His vocals r soooo good.

Crying with you again. These country reactions are hitting me in the nostalgia feels. The songs you've done so far are basically my childhood and teenage years. This is the music I was listening to then. I remember when this video came out and a group of us all but sobbing in study hall over it. Plus you keep doing the really sad songs. (This is not a complaint.) If you want to cry more, I recommend Concrete Angel by Martina McBride and Travelin' Soldier by The Chicks. We also need to get you some Kenny Chesney and Alan Jackson, if you haven't done them yet but I can't think of any specific songs right now. Another really good one by The Chicks is Not Ready To Make Nice. It's the song they released in response to being "cancelled" before cancel culture was a thing, for speaking out against the Iraq war before that was a thing that was done.

Hey Luke ,it's me again.I wanted to tell you some things about the song unsaid Emily.There isn't a time that I saw this video and haven't cried my eyes out. It's about a boy that decided to make a rock band with his friends but faced the disapproval of his parents. They had a fight and he run away from home. After a while they were going to give a performance at a famous place,but the night before they accidentally got poisoned by junkie food and died,before he came in good terms with his family. Meanwhile he wrote down all of his emotions in that particular song devoted it to her to his mother, cause HER name was EMILY.Please check it out and you won't regret it. Your fun from Greece.

So many people talk shit about country music without actually taking the time to listen to country music. I feel like the only reason country music is a hated genre overall is because it was popular for teenagers to hate on it and that just sort of stuck. I've seen so many people sit down and listen to country music the last few years and basically just instantly fall in love with it. I grew up with country music, I'm 25. And while it's not my favorite genre, it forever holds a special place in my heart and I'm so thankful to see so many getting into it now.

Rascal Flatts, for sure, is one of my FAVORITE country artists. I could listen to them for days on end. There are other country artists that I could could listen to the same way as well. I honestly like the 1990s-2010s country songs the most. I don't really listen to mainstream country anymore.

If you want a couple more emotion packed Rascal Flatts songs then you should check out "Here Comes Goodbye" and "I'm Moving On", I think they'll definitely tug at your heart strings lol. I think you would love Ray Lamontagne's music - he's an incredible storyteller, in the folk style. Aww, this song reminds me of my early teen years, and yep, it cracked me as well the first time I saw the fucking video. The song itself is heartbreaking but along with the video it destroys you. Rascal Flatts was so underrated. Now they have not outed any new music, sadly. Other recommendation from them is "Here Comes Goodbye". Their general style in theirs songs is very melancholic. EDIT: Regarding you been emotional on the camera, it shows that you are authentic and with a very strong masculinity and I love that. Not many channels do that precisely because of the "shame". But I find it very beautiful when a youtuber does that. It makes you connect and for me personally, it drowns me more to your reactions. Thanks for this reaction!

I'm a big fan of Vince Gill. He writes his own songs, known for his masterful guitar playing & EVERYONE in Country Music loves him. He's another man with an angelic voice. I have 3 recommendations. 1. "Vince Gill - When I Call Your Name". (VEVO. 13 years ago. Haunting.) 2. Vince Gill - Go Rest High On That Mountain". (VEVO. 13 years ago. A beautiful tribute. It was recorded in the Ryman Auditorium, the original Grand Ol' Opry. He's joined by Patty Loveless & Ricky Scaggs.) 3. "One More Last Chance", Official video. (Fun, fun, fun! Vince is a VERY good amateur golfer. So filming on a golf course was probably a dream come true.) Then, of course, there's Garth Brooks.

Just a note: American Country Music's origins are from Ireland, England, Scotland & Wales. Most, if not all of the surnames you'd find that settled in and all around the Smokey & Appalachian mountains were British & Irish names. If you want a comedy one from rascal flatts - Backwards. Its from the same album, me and my gang. No video that i know of, but it is a fun blast about all the tropes of country music. If you want to cry more Ellseworth is a good one from the same CD. That was my cross country CD for years. Listen to it start to finish on repeat for 12 hours, sleep on the side of the rode and drive another 15 hours making runs from texas to california 8 times a year on business. 27 hours drive time baby. As always, thank you for being you. It's good to see authenticity. I know you said you still feel weird about that kind of thing, but get used to it. Real respects real in this world. You'll grow and go far exponentially.

I thought the song was sad enough as a regretful breakup ballad, but the music video really went and kicked it up a notch... There’s a lot of newer country that is a bridge between country and pop. Some people like it, some don’t. I’m not big into Rascal Flatts but this song is on my playlist. The lyrics alone don’t indicate a death. It talks about someone walking away so 🤷🏻‍♀️ But there are a lot of country songs with emotional twists… -Concrete Angel by Martina McBride -Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carroll Lots of them.

Hey Luke, not sure how I missed this video when it dropped cause I love country music and Rascal Flatts is a favorite of mine. Recommend the song "Stand", but so many great hits by this group. The story telling of country music is not to be missed, so I will suggest " A Boy Named Sue" by Jonny Cash, "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia " by Reba McEntire, and "Grandpa" by the Judds. OMG, it's been ages since I've heard this song!! It was one of my favourite in ... high school? I listened to it in repeat for hours (I think I discovered it from an AMV??? I dont remember....) Thanks for the nostalgic feeling (now you'll start reacting to Nickelback "Faraway" or Back Street boys "Incomplete" and I'll die) Have you heard "Everyting you want" from Vertical Horizon? It's on the same level as this one

Thank you for this reaction, such a great band and song! Love your emotion and please don’t apologize for feeling what you feel. Others has suggested the song “skin”, another great song. Now, please consider listening to Al Stewart’s “Year of the Cat”, not country but amazing musicianship and story telling. Just not a live version please, pull up the original and listen and enjoy. Let me start off with saying that I love watching your reaction videos, especially to country music as it is what I grew up listening to. I don’t know if you take comment requests or not, but there are two songs that I would love to se you react to and talk about. “Concrete Angel” by Martina McBride or “Alyssa Lies” by John Michael Carrol. Fair warning they are emotional songs with a common theme; however, it is something that has happened in my life that I think, though hard to talk about, needs to be discussed and bring awareness to.
