This is such a great song! This song is about obsession and compulsion. They struggle to pull themselves out of the recording studio (red lights) or away from work in general. Even if it is unhealthy, they dont feel like they can’t take a break from working. Chan (leader of Stray Kids, producer - had the shorter hair in video) said that he wanted the listener to be able to relate to the lyrics so it can be about any unhealthy relationship and the ‘push and pull” you feel. Chan and Hyunjin made this song so sexy and provocative that it is probably their most streamed B side. If you enjoyed this then you would like Taste off their new album, Maxident. It was written, produced and performed by Hyunjin, Felix and Lee Know. It is ridiculously erotic. ❤
Also thanks for commenting on Hyunjins falsetto. He doesn’t sing a lot in their discography, he’s a rapper and dancer and now actually a producer, so some newer Stays have never heard his singing voice.
You should react to Stray Kids Domino Dance Practice video. it's not like practice they just filmed the whole choreo and you can hear the song. There is no music video for this song so I recommend this one.
Thank you for reacting to Red Lights, as the others have said it is a unit song, just Bang Chan with the short hair( Producer- Leader) and Hyunjin- long black hair- (Main dancer and lead rapper). This song was written and composed by them in their show Song Camp, you can watch them write and record this song and the other 2 unit songs. Hyunjin just produced a new song from their Maxident album called Taste, which he wrote and composed with Danceracha and then produced. It is similar to this as Hyunjin tends to veer towards that R and B sound.
Hello from Manor, TX. Stray Kids are like another level of Kpop, nothing like the others, they have a unique style. This is the only Kpop group that catch my attention and now i can't go a day without playind their music.. I'M OBSSESED WITH THEM!
I recommend you haven't seen it yet. They're great songs that you'll never regret. MIROH,Easy ,Back door, Cheese, DOMINO , slump ,Thunderous,VENOM , FREEZE ,Lonely St.
For some more R&B beat and great bass try Back Door. Much less intense vibe, but really rocks. Winter Falls is a high energy sort of breakup ballad with beautiful acoustic guitar. Not as popular since it's a vocal track and not what the group is known for, but it's beautiful and based on your reactions, I think you might like it. Lonely St is another vocal heavy track, more of a rock vibe, the percussion/drum/high hat? (I think?) stand out on that one.
Awww, thanks for the shout out. Really glad you liked the song. I've really liked your reactions. Very genuine. If you are looking for more like Red Lights you should check out Taste from the new album Maxident (no MV so search for a video with color coded lyrics). It is one of the best songs on the album. Also, other songs you should check out Back Door, Easy and Thunderous.
Bang Channie says it is about work obsession. He could barely watch it for his review. At least HyunJin seemed made of sterner stuff, ok with watching the MV. Hmmm, I think it is a bit more than work...
If you notice, they are mirroring each other. The scene with them sitting at the table, they both move at the same time and if you split the screen right down the middle, they have the same number of candles, lamps, etc. on each side, just arranged a little differently. Their movements when dancing mirror each other for the most part as well. There are only a few scenes where they break character and interact with each other.
thank you for checking out red lights Kevin. This song and video put stray kids in a whole new direction that fans are loving. The lyrics are about obsessive behavior bordering on toxic. I think that Chris and Hyunjin are portraying 2 sides of themselves or at least that is what i get from the video. your view maybe different and the beauty of the video. LOL If you liked this then you will also love Drive m/v which is another unit song with Chris (Bang Chan leader) and Lee Know. They claim it is about driving...... right. LOL For Me and I have been around a long time K-pop is the best and leading the industry in music videos and entertainment. But not all kpop groups have the best but they are still amazing. You have what they call the 3 big entertainment companies which is JYP Entertainment who have groups Stray Kids, Itzy, Got7, Day6, Xidanary Heros, Twice, and more. Then YG Entertainment has BlackPink, Big Bang, G-Dragon, Treasure, iKon and more), and SM Entertainment has NCT (27 members split into Units), EXO, Super Junior, Red Velvet, Shinee, and more. They usually have the most budget for their videos. I also like to include a 4th company Big Hit which house the popularity groups BTS, TxT and Enhyphen and a few more artist and groups. I am not saying the smaller companies dont have good videos because they are all top tier no matter but there budget is sometimes smaller and because of this they usually don't have much transitions changes, costume changes, or back ground changes. We all know though that you don't have to have a lot of money to have a amazing video. Sometimes simplicity is better depending on the song and lyrics. Also let us not forget the live performances and stages. K-pop idols and groups live to be entertainers. They listen to their fans and seem to have more interactions with their fans on a different level than American entertainers. They know without the fans they would not be doing what they love. They have real time video interactions with their fans, do fan signs.
You definitely have to check out the guide to SKZ to get to know them better. The best one is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dYS2Bf0a3WA.html I really enjoyed your SKZ reactions .. can't wait to see more.. you are having maybe only 130 songs left to react to 😂
