I'm old school bro, born 1980. This was my music back in the day and still is. Nowadays today's artist and record labels don't make 12" or extended versions anymore because of people's attention span. @@vegasbaby3669 sadly, today's generation and the generation before and the people that are brainwashed are into today's trend, microwave lyrics, following the trend and rather not think outside the box, most artist are in it to make a quick mill and show boating their diamonds. You know that some of these artists think that singing songs about love and feeling is beneath them and don't want to be feeling soft because they don't want their followers and sadly our community thinking they're soft. Songs like that don't generate sales. That's why you hardly hear of any fresh new R&B artist of today because they're catering towards pop ( money maker) and having record labels and entourage in their ear.

You should definitely check out Rene & Angela "Smile" and then check out the song "Angel" from Angela's first solo album. A few years after she and Rene broke up, she married Ronald Isley. I think they were married for almost 20 years. Angela Winbush is a powerhouse vocalist.

Great choice bro. Yep you still on that roll. This is maybe my favorite duos. Angela is one of the best female singers and Rene can hold his own but he does a lot of writing and producing. Check out "I Love You More" and see who sampled it. This album right here is packed with hits too. I think they may about 3 albums together and then she had a great solo career. He produced some of Michael Jackson's music.

If you didn't dance to this, I would've given up on you as dead and unrevivable and unsalvageable...and never watched another reaction video. 😁 I don't mess with anyone who isn't moved by Rene & Angela's music (a beautifully anointed, creative, and fruitful musical marriage!). Even spiritually dead sinners rock with Rene & Angela. Biggie, Jay-Z and Foxy Brown sampled them quite a bit. Angela sang the chorus on Biggie's song that snatches the beat and melody from "I Love You More." and features Jay-Z.

This song had me in a disagreement with my lil cuz, bc Foxxy Brown sampled this in her song with Jay Z. She didn't want to believe it was a sample until it played on a old school segment on WBLS, lol.
