@@deniseriley6622 one of my FAVORITE Bryan Adams songs, Please Forgive Me, Have You Really Ever Loved A Woman and Everything I Do I Do It For You. All 3 songs give me the chills and nostalgia like nothing else
One of my favorite artists. It was written for it wife at the time Cynthia Rhodes. It wasn't never supposed to released. He gave it to Barbra Streisand who told him he would have to rewrite the lyrics because she'll never be "Right Here Waiting" for anyone. Richard decided to record it himself & it became #1 in 1989 off his second album Repeat Offender.
Listening to Richard Marx is like a breath of fresh air!!! I listen to the 80's all the time & this song is awesome!! He's got so many songs that I like & 4 that really stick out is "Endless Summer Nights", "Hold On To The Night", "Shoulda Known Better" & "Angelina"!!! Richard's hairstyle was the "mullet".....business in the front & party in the back, lol!! 😂 He was hot back in the 80's & still is very attractive!!!! Loved your reaction, Tim & Fred!!! Brian Adams is another good musician/song writer, anything he wrote is awesome, too!! 😎👍🏻☮❤
In 1987 you couldn't go anywhere without hearing this song or his name. He was all over the place. He co wrote Dance With My Father with Luther Vandross. He put his pen to a lot of hits.
You guys should give INXS a listen, great Aussie band, any number of amazing singles that where hits world wide! Keep up the good work, I’m an oldie who loves seeing your enthusiasm for ‘our’ music form the past! 👍
@@DreamWriterDKS yes! New Sensation from their live at London’s Wembley Stadium would be amazing. The crowds, the band’s energy and Michael Hutchence’s unbelievable stage presence…there was none better!
Trading crypto now would be wise, but trading without a professional is really bad, I tried to trade alone, I completely lost a lot of money till I started trading with expert Michael Cohen that is a nice broker
Woooo that man his good work has been everywhere. Been seeing a lot of good comments about him on several places. I feel more confident investing with him, I've been on the train for over two weeks now... best Broker for life
he is the best Broker, I have tried lots of professionals but got exceptional income trading with Michael Cohen he is the best strategy now earning over $18,300 earning Over 10 days
If you’ve ever lost someone you loved with every living cell in your body, then you already know bout this jam! Or a secret lover, who’s been stringing y’all along… Then this one hits hard!
You should find him on Twitter--he's hilarious and gives nof*cks anymore. A troll asked him what songs he sang, and he replied, "The ones your girl f*cked to before she met you." Every junior high and high school mix tape, he was on it...if I knew then that he'd end up being so funny, I'd have liked him even more.
@Jennifer Pozner Thanks for commenting this. I just started following him on Twitter thanks to reading your comment. I love how he just says it how it is. He is so unfiltered as am I and I agree he’s hilarious. Trumpers won’t enjoy him though, but you can tell he left any f*cks he gave in the 80’s or early 90’s.lol
So happy you listened to Richard Marx. "Endless Summer Nights" has to be my all time favourite 80s song. Brings back so many memories. And also "hi" 👋 from Australia 🇦🇺 love your videos.
When I was in basic training for the Marines my girl friend sent me this song. I was a skinny black kid that grew up on the Southside of Chicago. That girl is my wife today and I'm lucky!
Richard still sounds amazing. I’ve seen him 6 times in the last couple years (last live show I saw before covid). Follow him on Twitter, he is hilarious!
Richard Marx is a super songwriter with a great voice! He can rock out or sing emotional ballads. Check out: "Don't Mean Nothing", "Now And Forever", "Hold On To The Night", "Should've Known Better", "The Way She Loves Me", "Satisfied", "Keep Coming Back" and "Endless Summer Nights".
I love this song so much! Reminds me of my high school sweetheart when we broke up. Floods me with memories for sure. Music was so excellent back then and Richard Marx was such a great talent.
YES! He is a FANTASTIC singer/songwriter with a STRING of hits...i LOVE him. Endless Summer Nights, Satisfied, Angelia, Should've Known Better, Heaven Only Knows, Hazard...The list is LONG!
Hold Onto The Nights is one of my favorite love songs. Richard Marx is a G.O.A.T. when it comes to the best love songs ever In the 80's and early 90's many 1st wedding dances were to his songs. . School Proms themes were "Hold Onto The Nights' proms. And MANY, MANY babies were made while listening to his songs in the backgrounds. Ha ha if you wanted to make out with your girl you popped in a Richard Marx Cassette or album. I've seen him several times in concert.
Love you guys. I’m 67 years old so I’m happy you r listening to older music. PLEASE listen to Paul Brandt a song called I Meant to do that. It’s amazing, about the chances he missed all through life. Take care ♥️♥️make sure it’s the video of the man in a train, very moving!!!! ♥️♥️
I love the way y'all are truly listening to these songs and not just immediately dismissing them! There's something that these classics have that's been missing lately.
My Grandmother loved this song so much, it was one of her absolute faves. Was so glad we had some common likes in music. Richard Marx still looks and sounds amazing. His sons are also musicians and singers as well. Their Mom is a singer/dancer as well. If you’ve ever seen Dirty Dancing, she plays Penny.
Richard Marx! Where has the time gone? That beautiful dancer wife of his, she was in the movie Dirty Dancing 🕺. I’m definitely going to binge his music this week, great memories!🙌🤗😂
I was at his concert in Burlington, Vermont, when just as he sat down at the piano to begin this song, he told us all they had just received word that day it hit #1 on the charts. It was pretty cool.
I’m one of your mothers Coworkers!! I must say, she has raised some good boys with much ambition and talent. May the Lord keep blessin y’all fellas ✊🏾🙏🏽
As someone who was in middle school/high school in the 90's (graduated in 1996) this song is a classic. Richard Marx had an amazing style. I have to suggest All For Love by the outstanding Rod Stewart, Sting and Bryan Adams. It will blow you away.
I’m so glad that you critiqued this song, one of my favorites calling back to the time at the start of the relationship with my forever soulmate that I am spending the best years of my life with. That youthful angst has come full circle 36 years later as we now face rounds of chemo/radiation that he must suffer though. But we will both get through it and I will always be waiting for him. ♥️
Love Richard Marx, love this song, love you two guys 💕 he and Bryan Adams have similar tone to their beautiful voices. Good recommendations below for some Bryan Adams songs.
Wrote "This I promised You" for NSYNC, sang background vocals for Lional Richie on "All Night Long" and has some awesome new music. Sounds exactly the same and has a wicked sense of humor!
Omg, one of my favorite song he did, just so beautiful hit you at the heart String🥰 Alan Jackson “Remember When “ Kenny G “Silhouette “ and “ Song Bird “
Loved your reaction to this. Definitely a staple song from the 80s. I agree with all the others that would love to hear your reaction to "Hold On to the Nights" and "Hazard," you should definitely look them up!
