Teena marie is known across the globe as the Ivory Queen of Soul , she passed away in 2008 , she has a back catalogue of some of the finest R&B Ever ! And a voice thats considered one of the greatest voices of all time . She is a multi talented musician , singer songwriter , producer , and poet. She a rick were together when this was made . The chemistry is there to be experiences by everyone listening to this classic.

No. Teena Marie passed away in 2010. A day after Christmas. December 26. Rick James died in 2004.

You gotta hear Rick James do " Dance With Me" and "Love Gun". You'll be jamming Big time. And another one is "Fire it Up". Rick came on the scene and put Motown back on the Charts with hit after hit! And back then ...Prince was his opening Act in Concert. Prince Blew up quick! And these two Major Acts became ompetitors! Then Rick let the drugs take over.... sad. Next Prince blew him out of the water! Now Prince was Dominant!

There's so much music out there from the 60's 70's 80's 90's you wouldn't believe. Keep up with those Bee Gees reactions. He is young so he doesn't know. I don't know what makes him think Teena is underrated. Teena Marie was white so could have easily gone and did pop music but she did R&B. Teena Marie wasn't underrated in black folks household. Teena Marie isn't underrated.
